5 out of 5 eggsGoing strong after five years!

Pros: Purchased back in 2008. Overclocked it to 3.0Ghz the day I bought it and it's been rock steady ever since.

Cons: None. This chip is golden.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: This was my first processor that I bought. At the time this was the best bang for your buck. I had a lot of fun overclocking this thing.

Cons: none what so ever.

5 out of 5 eggsstill going strong

Pros: Installed in 2008 and here it is 2012, 3 years later. Not overclocked. Computer is up nearly every day for 10+ hours a day and it has just worked flawlessly.

Cons: bit of a power hog by 2012 standards. If its cold out though, it does help heat the room lol.

5 out of 5 eggseasily at 3.2Ghz

Pros: I have this thing running at 3.2Ghz all day long at 1.325 voltage, since my new bios update i cannot go higher anymore.

Cons: it wasnt free?????

Other Thoughts: Biostar a770 a2+ mobo with Zalman 9500 cooler inside Antec 900 case. 4 GB mushkin 4-5-4-11, ATI Radeon HD 3870. Got my 3dmark score at a high of 14,578(this was with a dedicated cpu/gpu power supply and CPU overclocked to 3.5Ghz) Avg. score is 11,974 @3.2Ghz and video card maxed out !!!!!! Riva Tuner rocks!!!!!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat price for performance!

Pros: Runs very cools and fast, extremely simple to overclock to 3.0GHz on stock voltage, and inexpensive.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Gets the job done.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat overclocker

Pros: Great overclocker, I can get to 3.0Ghz without adjusting the voltage one bit.

Cons: At the time of this review it may not be the best bang for the buck anymore, it might be work looking into something a bit newer.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you get a motherboard that supports changing the multiplier, without that this proc. is useless compared to it's locked counterpart.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid

Pros: So far so great! Works like a charm and as expected. Great deal, installed with Asus M2N SLI, 2GB GSkill Dual Channel.

Cons: No Heatsink.

Other Thoughts: Got a low profile Hiper ALL Copper with Fan heatsink, so far runs great.

5 out of 5 eggsAMD!!

Pros: cool performance (very nice thermal temp almost comparable to AMD 45Watt editions!!) good performance/price ratio (I got combo deal with 2G of rams for under $90).

Cons: only 512K of L2 catch but who need more anyway (I mean for average user with some multitasking, but may not be enough for extreme gamers)

Other Thoughts: here is my spec: This black processor, 2G of crucial rams, 400G WD HDD, Geforce 8600GTS 256MB, Antec 380 earthwatt, and oh ya ECS motherboard. This is my budget PC well under $500.
