5 out of 5 eggsStill truckin

Pros: I have been running this little guy for 5 years.... Still keeps up and gets a 4.9 on windows 7...

Cons: Age.... She's getting older. but still keeps trucking.

Other Thoughts: I'm just gonna add some new drives to it and keep it trucking another 3 years.. It isn't broke don't replace it.

5 out of 5 eggsFast and Inexpensive CPU

Pros: AM2-DDR2 support, best price/performance.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I needed a dual-core CPU on a budget with great performance. I trust AMD with their superior technology and pricepoint that makes you think, why spend more of your hard-earned cash on a product of similar performance that cost more? Seems logical to me.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Processor, Good Price

Pros: A good, stable, fast processor for the price. I am using this for light gaming and productivity applications. Great packaging, and fast shipping.

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: I used this processor in my first solo build, and I am running Ubuntu 8.10 flawlessly. Thanks Newegg!

5 out of 5 eggsAMD 4200+ Brisbane

Pros: Great processors for a non-gaming machine. I use mine for a multi-media computer hooked to a HDTV. Works prefect.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: To whoever wrote that these may contain spyware. What??? I assure you AMD does not load their procs with spyware. HAHAHA

5 out of 5 eggsSpyware on a cpu?

Pros: I've had this CPU for well over nearly two years and it runs great.

Cons: The person who said he got spyware after installing this CPU knows absolutely nothing. OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Besides there is no way to put spyware on a processor.

Other Thoughts: Just so no one gets scared there is no way a processor can put spyware on your computer... yes the CPU does run everything, but that's it.

3 out of 5 eggsPossible Spyware

Pros: A lot better than the single core cpu I was using. worked with no problems.

Cons: After installation there was an icon in the system tray. When I clicked on it I was sent to a website that had spyware and adware! Had to run Malwarebytes to remove it from my computer.

Other Thoughts: I would be cautious about installing oem cpus like this that may have spyware.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat

Pros: able to get to 2.8ghz no problem with G.Skill ddr2-1000 without touching cpu voltages.

Cons: couldn't get it to hit 3ghz like my other pc's X2 3600+

Other Thoughts: it is an excellent performer for the cost, especially if you overclock it with some cheap G.Skill ram.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT OVERCLOCKER!!!

Pros: i also used this as a waiting CPU until Phenom II came out. i have it overclocked @ 3.080GHz, stable (280FSB x 11; 4x HT). this is a great little CPU and a great overclocker. right now i'm currently running it w/an Asus M3A32-MVP Deluxe motherboard which has a 790FX chipset w/the SB600. i'm probably going to be getting the Asus M3A79 motherboard w/the SB750 when i get a Phenom II.

Cons: none for the price.

Other Thoughts: i'm about to buy a Phenom II in the next month or two but this little guy will be missed. i'll never forget you, little buddy.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good thermals and benchmarks for price

Cons: overclocking was a challenge, was more limited by Vht and Vnorth than Vcore...left at 2.7 stable

Other Thoughts: I used this as a way to wait for phenom II, this isn't a gaming proc but it'll do if you don't have enough $$ for phenom II
