Best Bang For Your Dollar
- Pros: Quad Core, Performance, Value.
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: This processor is selling really cheap for what you are getting. You really can't go wrong with this deal. If you already own an AM2+ motherboard or for anyone looking to build a system with solid performance that are on a tight budget, then this is the processor to get. For what you are getting now for less then 80 bucks is amazing considering you couldn't have touched this processor over a year ago for anywhere near the price it's going for today. This Quad Core can still do pretty much anything you can throw at it with ease. It isn't the fatest Quad Core by any means, but it gets the job done and for the price it's going for now, it's a steal.
Not bad for a cheap 4-core...
- Pros: 4 cores 4 cheap! Has an L3. Runs 64-bit Vista like a champ (w 6GB of Crucial).
- Cons: Runs a little warm for my taste (might be my heatsink though; it's a Coolermaster Vortex 752). Not a Black Edition.
- Other Thoughts: System specs: X4 9750, Coolermaster Vortex 752, 6gb Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800, 640GB WD Caviar Blue, SB X-Fi Xtreme Gamer, Diamond Radeon HD 4650 (1GB DDR2), Samsung SH-S223 DVD writer, Sony multi-card reader, Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H motherboard, CM eXtreme Power Plus 500W, Antec NSK4400 case, Vista 64-bit Home Premium OEM.
(BTW, "no fan" (the reviewer below), OEM in this case means you only get the processor, no HSF (heatsink / fan.))
Just wanted to use up some spare parts and have a little box for some light gaming / DVD watching / hitting the VPN at work. Multitasks very well (dl'ing w/ iTunes, composing w/ Word, running a VNC session) for my needs.

Works like a charm
- Pros: Value, performance, convenience.
- Cons: USB mouse+keyboard started tripping upon installation. Might be from my chipset drivers. Too lazy, so TO PS/2!
- Other Thoughts: Great purchase. This thing runs everything smooth, and up to pace, and is especially convenient to those in need of a quad core that don't feel like updating their motherboard to a high end AM3. This thing gets the job done on my m2n-sli. Atleast 2x-3x boost in frame rates on most of my games on max settings. (Mw2, Bf bad company beta 2, source games, most modern.)
Note- If you own an M2N-SLI board, on the BIOS update page on asus, only shows it supports the 95w. I used the 95w bios version for this 125w and it works fine.

comment
- Pros: it's an AMD. ordered 2!
- Cons: NONE
- Other Thoughts: why would you trash NewEgg or the processor because you don't like the motherboard. for your lack of understanding you get 0 eggs.
