AMD Virtualization Virtualization on desktop computers allows a single PC to act like multiple virtual machines. AMD Virtualization can enable client computers to seamlessly support multiple operating environments. It also helps make it easier for PC enthusiasts to upgrade and maintain their PCs through emulation.
Pros: Been running this in my new PC for about six months now with no issues
Cons: none so far
Other Thoughts: AMD makes affordable and reliable Processors that's why i buy them. Intel makes faster Processors but they also cost more and when every dollar counts on a my budget i always go with AMD.

Rating: 5/5Oh my! What a screamer!
Pros: Runs fast and cool.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: This chip again proves why I have used AMD for all these years and hundreds of builds. They are so much less $'s than the competition, and operates just as fast or faster, at a cooler temp. I don't care to OC, but if this chip can handle what some others are doing to it, it will still be kickin' long after I'm dead and gone.

Rating: 5/5Great processor
Pros: This is a great processor. I have over clocked mine to 4ghz. Works with out a hiccup. I used an aftermarket CPU cooler. The CPU cooler that comes with it is very nice and better then most CPU coolers that you get stock. I would suggest if you plan to overclock (which if you are buying a black processor why wouldn't you over clock it) upgrading the CPU cooler is a must. I am running the Cooler Master V8 with it and it is cold to the touch even overclocked. I use this computer for gaming.
Cons: The only thing i found that was a con is it didnt have any CPU grease and maybe that was just with mine. Problem with that is for people that dont know to buy better grease or didnt think to buy grease are going to be a tad upset by this. So if you are not certain buy some grease just in case. It was a pain to find a good motherboard for a good price that runs AMD.
Other Thoughts: I love the price of the AMD. After i over clocked it to 4ghz and have 4gb of ram OC'ed to 2000mhz it beats most Intel's. The exception was the xeon and the i7's. The i7 beat it on a few test but a few others they were neck and neck. I really like AMD and the price was right. Only downside is that motherboards are getting tougher and tougher to find for AMD's that are superb quality there are some but not as many as Intel's.

Rating: 5/5Great, but runs hot
Pros: A nice quick CPU with an unlocked multiplier for easy overclocking. All in all, a great way to get into quad-core computing.
Cons: The chip does run rather hot, so an aftermarket cooler is, in my opinion, required. Then again, if you are going for one of these, then you probably already know you need one. Also, I found that the VCore was running a bit high on my chip. It was set to 1.375 volts, but registered as 1.408 volts. I actually found that, at stock clock speeds, I could turn the VCore down to 1.260 volts and it ran perfectly stable (passed 15 hours of Prime95). Turning the VCore down also dropped my idle temps by about 4C and my load temps by 5C. So if you see your temps getting a bit hot, try lower the voltage and see if it helps, I know it did for me.
Other Thoughts: I bought this chip as a way to upgrade from an AMD Athlon 64 x2 6400+, on an AM2+ motherboard as a way to avoid having to buy a whole new mobo and RAM. Totally worth the money. BUT! Before you buy and install this, make sure your motherboard can support this specific chip, AND that you have UPDATED THE BIOS IF REQUIRED FIRST! I read my motherboard manufacturers website first and realized I needed to update the bios before installing the chip, so it wasn't an issue for me, but I imagine it will be for some people.

Rating: 5/5fantastic quad core
Pros: when it comes to budget gaming rigs, this is one of the best choices for getting the performance you need. at this price point, intel doesn't offer anything with this much overclocking potential. It's not far from the i7 in terms of performance, but it comes in at a fraction of the price, not to mention AM3 mobos are cheaper.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: I got this as part of an upgrade package that included an ATI 5770 and 4GB DDR3@1600. It's not really fair to compare, but this thing is a beast compared to my original 3.0GHz P4 Prescott, 1GB DDR@400, and nVidia 5200FX. I use it to play StarCraft2 and my gf plays The Sims2, both games play great maxed out at 1680x1050
