5 out of 5 eggsGreat Processor for the price

Pros: A great processor for everyday multi tasking and a great overall performance.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I am a technician and a recording engineer. I recently replaced the original processor in my recording workstation ( AMD Athlon 64 3400+) with this processor. While recording or mixing down a project, I can easily run 24 tracks of audio with 3 vst effects plugins per track without the processor even breathing hard. My software utilizes multi core processing and this processor really does the job well. Whether it be for VST instrument playback, recording live audio, or just emailing, games, etc. , this processor really has the power to perform very well.

4 out of 5 eggsServed me well

Pros: -OCed to 2.4 over a year now and still stable
-broke a pin (whoops) and still works with a piece of wire in socket
-plays games like L4D2 and fallout new vegas and mw3 on low settings with a hd4350, defiantly playable though even on a 23"

Cons: -tends to be a little hot at least for me, idles at around 100F and 120F top while gaming
-too slow for anything beyond low setting games and simple multitasking

Other Thoughts: Good processor on its release, but is now outdated, although it has survived the years and has been OCed to 2.4 for a year now, its time to finally upgrade
finally bought a phenom ii x6 for video and game editing, so thats coming to replace

5 out of 5 eggsAMD Fan for life after buying this nice dual core

Pros: Fast dual core, upgraded from a Intel Pentium 4 2.93GHz CPU and this CPU blows it out of the water. Even through this CPU was designed for Windows XP I have it on my computer and I have Windows 7 64 bit and this CPU works great. Some programs can max out both cores.
If you are able to get this CPU for your older AM2 motherboard I would go for it you will not be disappointed.
Very low temperatures idle 27 to 32C
Maxed out 36 to 39C
I didn't buy this CPU here I bought it from a local computer store some time ago and this CPU never let me down yet.

Cons: Could have more L2 cache but 512 still is fast.

Other Thoughts: System spec's

5 out of 5 eggsAMD Continues to Shine

Pros: I've been running with this chip, in an EVGA nForce motherboard, for about two years now. It has served me faithfully in all that time, performing excellently at good temperatures without any issues.

Cons: None that I've encountered

5 out of 5 eggsSuper cool!

Pros: Amazing speed for the price. Runs extremely cool compared to a Pentium D 930.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Can't beat it for the price, and since I'm only gaming, I don't need super overclockable processors or high end items.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat buy!!!

Pros: This thing is amazing fast. Absolutly no bottle neck with HD2900 Pro. OC's very well (OC-2.7Ghz, idle at 28C, 42C full). Runs great with 2GB RAM, never had a problem with it. I LOVE IT! Very very good price, excellent for buget build.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Other Thoughts: Put this with a microATX PCCHIPS board, 2GB GSkill DDR2 800 RAM, 550W PSU, ATi HD2900 PRO, and you will be amazed. CS:S(160FPS average).
