5 out of 5 eggsGood Processor all around

Pros: All the performance of the 125w version but only 95w
Low power consumption, Low heat, good overclocking.
Overall great for a budget build.

Easily reaches 3.6Ghz at stock voltage.
Overclocking higher, (3.8) & (4.0) each require a bump in voltage to be stable, but it's still great considering that only brings it up to 1.375v maximum.

Cons: Hard to find now.
Locked Multiplier, nonetheless. it still overclocks very well.
Since it's an OEM tray CPU it doesn't come with a HSF and the warranty only lasts 30 days.

Other Thoughts: Have been using this CPU on a 990FX board for over a year now. Using a Hyper 212+ the temperatures were "Phenomenal" to say the least, It always stayed under 40c even at full load.

I have recently upgraded to an FX-8350 so I no longer use this in my main build.

2 out of 5 eggsIt works...

Pros: It works and does what I asked it to, but I'm worried about how long that is going to be true.

Cons: When it arrived one of the pins was bent inwardly - I was able to bend it back and make use of it but completely unacceptable - seriously worried about the longevity of this chip.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Processor

Pros: I've been running for a month now and its doing its job running @ 3.4 once I squeeze more out of it so my 6970 doesn't bottle neck and I'm golden

Cons: the cpu temp fluctuates but that might also have to do with my cooling

Other Thoughts: its an overall good processor 5 eggs forit

5 out of 5 eggsGreat CPU for the money.

Pros: This processor is perfect for gaming, and never had an issue since I ran it.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This processor was upgraded not long ago to a 960T.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Incredible processor for the price, dare I say one of the best. Overclocks like a beast, at stock it is nothing to be laughed at, and if you get this, you'll not have any problems playing today's games. This is one trusty chip.

Cons: Mine was c2, couldn't overclock as much as I had hoped. However, I was able to get it to 3.75GHz stable on my Gigabyte mobo, with a mere $30 aftermarket cooler, and that is definitely not something to be unhappy about. Not really a con, and definitely not worth removing an egg over.

4 out of 5 eggsgood procesor

Pros: 3.2ghz, AM3 socket, 6mb cache, works on AM2+ boards

Cons: i can't seem to adjust the FSB on this processor for OC
i'm using it in a A880GZ biostar board and it's the first time i've used this board but all other biostar boards i own you can adjust the FSB up from 200mhz usually. i'm not sure if it's where this is a OEM processor and can't be OC'd or if the A880GZ does not have this option in bios. perhaps someone can comment on this. i'm not going thru the process of installing my X3 core phenom II in this board just to see if it changes the bios options which i've seen processors do.

Other Thoughts: someone comment on this subject please. ty

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I am happy with this processor. 95 watts and good performance. I replaced an Athlon 64 X2 5600+ with this PII 955 in a old Foxconn AM2+ board. The bios had no problem detecting it and it has work flawlessly. Running prime 95 full on for 15 minutes, it peaked at 54c. Idles at 800mhz and 29c. It ramps up when a 3D game is played-to the full 3.2 ghz so I know all is well. I used Prime 95, CoreTemp, and CPUz in the testing of this chip. Windows loads faster, programs open faster and almost all games are able to played at higher graphic settings, using the same computer with just this upgrade. Worth it to keep this rig afloat awhile longer. This is an HTPC.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: Foxconn am2+ mb
PhenomII 955 95 watt
4 gig of 800mhz Gskill mem
550 watt ps
AMD 5570 1 gig ddr3 (low profile)
1 TB WD Blue/1 TB Seagate Barracuda

5 out of 5 eggsGot this just in time!

Pros: I'm running a Biostar A760G M2+ (v6) and I've been pondering this processor for a while now and finally got around to ordering it. I'm glad I did because when I got on today to review and it's now out of stock! That aside, I was running an Athlon 635 x4 and wasn't sure if this would be worth the update but... it is! I popped this thing in immediately overclocked it to 3.55 ghz. (The 635 would pull 3.2) Fantastic! I might try pushing it more later but this is the sweet spot for my board before having to change multipliers on other stuff like hypertransport, etc. My system is much 'snappier' but what surprised me was the increase in graphics benchmarks.. in particular, the Heaven (Unigine) benchmark where I saw a HUGE increase in framerates. Level 3 cache really helps you there. This Biostar board does not show this processor on the compatibility list but it DOES work with the latest bios. HIGHLY recommended if you can still get it.

Cons: None. This is the best 95 watt Phenom that you can buy.

5 out of 5 eggsThis thing is built for speed and stability!

Pros: Very fast! I built a new system to replace my Core 2 duo that had been in use for about 3 or 4 years.
3.2ghz overclocked to 3.5ghz, coupled with an HD8650 runs Skyrim on ultra and it looks beautiful!

Cons: Not the black edition, so it's a lot harder to OC, but I'm not one to complain. For the price, you can't beat this! Buy it!

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Nice and cool, overclockable, easy install, minimal packaging (plastic case, pink foam, processor)

Cons: Didn't come with the AMD sticker... OEM packaging. No big deal though.
