5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Value

Pros: Been using this CPU for sometime and it has worked really well. Works great for some moderate gaming, however I'm not using the on board graphics so I can't speak to that.

Cons: Stock cooler is small, but I don't go crazy with my computer so it works just fine for me.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for playing older games

Pros: Price point. plays old games like HITMAN2 no prob. avg 61FPS on 1020x720 or something rather. thats full textures and environment. FYI newer games run much lower on med settings maybe 27-30FPS if you can get em to run.

Cons: comming from a quad core. I do notice the lag, which makes me a little impatient.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good for the price

Pros: 3.7 Ghz with a built in graphics card. Purchased for my son's computer.

Cons: Puchased for my son's computer. Dual-core feels a bit sluggish compared to the 8 core in my computer.

Graphics card is enough for older games like Portal and the early Valve games. Wasn't able to run a gamecube emulator. Can't handle more modern games.

Other Thoughts: The packaging claims that you experience some kind of boost when pairing it with certain radeon graphics cards, I assume the underlying technology is something similar to crossfire but without the bridge. I put in a Radeon card (later model than the ones mentioned on the box) and they work well together, although I can't claim that that's due to the pairing with an APU.

4 out of 5 eggsVery good CPU for the price

Pros: So far so good. Bought one for my HTPC. The integrated graphics are good enough for lots of low-intensity games.

Cons: Weak stock cooler. The contact plate only covers part of the heat spreader. I strongly recommend investing in an aftermarket cooler.

3 out of 5 eggsUsed for 2 months

Pros: Price
Dual Core [2 threads per core]
Integrated GPU
Cheapest and latest released dual core for about 45 dollar sounds pretty good, right?

Cons: Even with it @3.7 and boost @3.9 ghz, it feels slow, I have a way older Intel R pentium 4(office pc that was released near 2005) that loads web pages and other tasks way faster

Other Thoughts: Comes with IGPU, even being pretty slow, it can pull out some source engine games 1024x768 @ lower settings 26+ fps
Ex: CS:GO-1024x768(stretched on 1600x900) get 45+ fps with everything low and turned off,
LoL - high 1600x900| 28+fps
TF2- 1028x768|High, about 2xMSAA 30+
*Even though not for gaming, not bad for really budget NEW pc build*

1 out of 5 eggsA mystery flaw that is hard to resolve...

Pros: Works good...when it wants too

Cons: This CPU is nothing but JUNK! it caused me so much trouble trying to find out what kept causing my machine to be spontaneously rebooting at random moments through out the day sometimes 5 TIMES! then the pattern shifts to where it does it once during the day then another cycle over night before dawn and then again 2 or 3 more times depending on use but as always its either random or one reboot after another.

I went from Windows XP to Windows 8 to even LINUX and still gave me the same results the disgusting reboots with ABSOLUTE no TRACE of info on the Event viewer and worst when I have it using the onboard video using the graphics chip of the APU the reboots become more random and then the event viewer CRASHES to where I have to close it and re-open it only to have the same crash and only have a few seconds to do a quick search and yet NOTHING other than an event 6009 that states "Microsoft (R) Windows (R) 5.01. 2600 Service Pack 3 Multiprocessor Free." which In another Machine that I use it never appears only on mine and AFTER the reboots.

Another new Issue it began to do is after a bit of multitasking and use of the web browser there is a disgusting LAG in which I confused over a memory issue but after testing my hard drive and RAM and the results were GOOD I concluded that its the CPU's apu or whatever that is causing this horrible lag to where the task manager shows a HUGE 50% or greater of CPU usage that shows me just how BAD it performs without any video card installed.

Frankly I think this amd cpu is a total waste of TIME its the least friendliest with any ATI and NVIDA card I install that keeps these mysterious rebooting that pretty much RUIN everything I do in this machine if I don't save my progress I can't run my business right and the Amd technical support are more stubborn than my 3 year old telling me there is nothing wrong and that I need to download the latest this n that when I already did and went BEYOND my capabilities to try to get this THING fix and so FAR NOTHING

Either this CPU version is flawed or I ended up throwing money away getting a worthless DUD either way I am very dissatisfied with AMD and this experience has left an extremely SOUR taste in my consumer tongue that I will never BUY and just go for an Intel everything & waste money all over again but only this time on something worth it NOT worthless!

Other Thoughts: What makes it more complicated here is finding the appropriated drivers for the on board video it comes with the amd site does not even LIST this in its apu list its like they almost realize what a piece of failure junk this is that they just TAKE it off their product software list and just leaves whoever owns them high and dry on their own I was a fool for going for an AMD I guess I should of done more research I had assumed that they still carried their fame glory from years back thinking they were better than Intel since my first PC was an intel and I disliked its poorly performance but compare to THIS my old machine runs more stable than my current one.

I am just so disappointed in amd right now and never again go for one I feel so paranoid right now just wondering when the next disgusting reboot is gonna occur and if i'll be caught off guard ill be lucky if I can make this post without it going out on me lol.

4 out of 5 eggsA+ budget friendly CPU

Pros: Nice budget CPU for light to medium multitasking. I built a rig for less then $300 USD using this processor. Dual core will be phased out soon but if you plan on putting together a PC for a loved one or friend who doesn't need a powerful computer this will do the trick.

Cons: None.
