5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: it's lot of RAM. Works great. Voltage is what is recommended by Apple.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Passed Memtest and Apple Hardware Diagnostics with no problems. Been stable for about a month now.

1 out of 5 eggsdo not buy for 2012 13" macbook pro

Pros: none

Cons: will crash when running videos

Other Thoughts: Very frustrated with this RAM. Kept crashing my 13" mid 2012 MacBook Pro base model (i5), particularly when playing any sort of website video. Now I have to deal with Mushkin as NewEgg will not issue an RMA because I'm just a few days past 30 days... Do yourself a favor and AVOID MUSHKIN. And, next time I WILL BUY ELSEWHERE

5 out of 5 eggsexcellent upgrade for Asus N56VZ

Pros: I purchased 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) of Corsair Vengeance (CMSX16GX3M2A1600C10) which was incompatible with an Asus N56VZ-DS71. I installed the Corsair in a Macbook Pro where it worked fine and purchased this Mushkin memory for the Asus N56VZ-DS71. The machine posted and came up with 16 GB of DDR3 SO-DIMM RAM at 1600 Mhz (as reported by dmidecode under Ubuntu).

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: the Asus N56VZ-DS71 is picky about memory. Some report the Corsair modules work but despite trying three different BIOS revisions they did not. This Mushkin memory works very well in an Asus N56VZ-DS71 with BIOS version version: N56VZ.215 dated 11/02/2012.

5 out of 5 eggsMac Mini (2012)

Pros: Installed in my 2012 Mac Mini and it works perfectly.

Low Voltage

One of the few modules with the specs of 1.35V (instead of 1.5V). While many high voltage modules do run correctly in lower voltage chipsets, the new Ivy Bridge Mac's are designed for 1.35V RAM and wanted to purchase RAM designed to run at this voltage.

Ran 1 day of memtest in single user mode and not a single error.

Cons: None; worked as expected

1 out of 5 eggsDO NOT BUY

Pros: 1 stick worked.

Cons: 1 stick failed.

Other Thoughts: DO NOT BUY this RAM.
1 stick failed, 1 stick worked - 50% success rate, so poor.
New Egg want to charge me $27 to ship it back to them ?!?!?
In fact, skip buying from New Egg altogether and go with a local retailer, get corsair or something. FAIL !

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Bought these to install into my mid-2012 mac-mini.

Cons: Loaded them up, dropped into single user mode and ran a memtest and had multiple failures. Tried running with them for a day or so but caused the machine to crash a couple of times. Had to RMA them and replaced them with a set of G.SKILL RAM which worked perfectly.
