Pros: none

Cons: This is the HD that came in my XPS M1530. It is slow and gets hot. I had an Inspiron 8100 before and its 4200 RPM IDE drive seemed faster. This drive also takes forever to do a full format. I'd expect a SATA 3Gb/s 5400 RPM drive to perform better than this.

Pros: Great price for the size
Fast shipping
Perfect replacement for a dead Macbook HD

Cons: First time I formatted it, I started to install Leopard and got a read/write error half-way through. After that, the drive was unrecognizable by Disk Utility.
Newegg sent me a replacement and it's worked great ever since.

Other Thoughts: It may not have been the drive's fault, since I also had the Macbook's SATA cable replaced soon after getting the replacement, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
