Pros: This HD never failed on me, has been very stable and fast at moving files. This HD would also serve as a great addition into another build - saving money. Newegg service has been great as always. Been a loyal customer since 2002.

Worked great-for a while

Pros: Good price; Newegg service.

Cons: Died after a year and a half.

Other Thoughts: Would have given a lower review, but WD's RMA service was fantastic, much better than other companies in my experience. All else being equal, this'll make the difference next time if I'm choosing between other HD manufacturers and WD.

Pros: fast and large

Cons: nosier than a very small slow drive
will die
can not handle massive use Like I needed

Other Thoughts: This drive for the most part was good in my old emac until this past Friday when it died.
Only had it 3 months what is up with that!
I give this drive a whole hearted thumbs down.
