Pros: Received the item really fast. So far no problems works great.

Cons: Not sure why but the computer motor now runs loud sometimes.

Pros: Work good till it died. Seemed a little slow but it worked.

Cons: Drive Mfg 3/1/2012, purchased 5/6/2012, and died 2/13/2013. Didn't get a year of service from it. Contacted WD to see about replacement. Registered as purchased from NewEgg Online store, so I was told there was no warranty to go see them. NewEgg has their standard 30/60/90 day warranty policy which I have not issue with at all. However to purchase from a company like WD and find out they don't even stand behind their product for 12 mos from date of purchase. Needless to say I won't be buying WD products anymore.

Pros: Hard to tell, it's dead.

Cons: Just received the shipment 45 mins ago and the unit was DOA. Tried it in another computer with the same result. It just buzzes.

Pros: Easy install. Win7 working fine on my Vostro laptop.
Seems to be the usual WD quality & performance.
7200RPM replaced an original 5400RPM. Noticeably faster !

Cons: none.

Pros: Works well. Low noise.

Cons: Missed a daily deal for a better one at the same price.

Other Thoughts: Replaced an old 120g WDC 5400 rpm drive that went bad.

Pros: Cost/GB, size of drive, volume and over speed and reliability. Using as boot drive in wife's comp for about 3 yrs had in laptop and will now take that to my mini itx box

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: best value on the market. SSDs? Not impressed due to cost. Have Corsair GT 180GB in my comp and is fast, but for the cost? Give me a WD 7200 HDD

Pros: Replaced a 5400 RPM laptop drive and it is amazing how fast the Scorpio drives are. I wish I had done this sooner.

Cons: Nothing at this time.

Other Thoughts: Bought this 'cause my 4y/o Dell Inspiron 1720 HD crashed, good thing I back-up. Anyway, popped the old HD out, popped the new one in (had to recycle the plug adapter) and re-installed W7HP. Worked like a charm. Nice and quiet and noticeably faster than the old 5400rpm HDD.

I pretty much don't even look at anything other than a WD HDD anymore. I've had good luck w/ them and been very disappointed w/ others.

Pros: Size fits my Kingwin trays. Seems fast enough for OS drive.

Cons: One of two failed to read after 30 days. May 3 to Jun 3 of 2012. Newegg claims "This item was purchased more than 30 days ago and is no longer eligible for a refund RMA." So now I have to go to WD now instead of Newegg. Hmm. Like an umpire who is sqeezing the strike zone. The one that failed was making me chkdisk every so often when I backed up the OS on it. Fortunately it failed 10 minutes after the last backup was made. Should have called it in sooner.

Pros: FAST! Loads Windows 7 in roughly 20 seconds on an aging Toshiba Satellite.
Very quiet, I can't hear it when it spins up!
Good amount of space

Cons: None.
