Pros: Great price and no problems installing into my PS3. This drive is quiet and stays cool.

Pros: Big cache, runs quiet, seems to have improved seek times along with thermal conditions.

Other Thoughts: I love this drive so far. It's increased far more than the storage for my PS3. Seek times seem quicker, it runs quieter and cooler. Just a great drive for the upgrade.

Pros: Its pretty darn quiet if you ask me. Definitily quieter than the 7200RPM counterparts. Im using this drive as my HD video recorder and it get the job done no problem. Its speed enough and its supposed to be able to run for a long time for 24/hr a day.

Pros: 16MB of cache, extremely low-power consumption, can be put into a usb enclosure w/o Y-USB cable or in a secondary modular bay.

Cons: Not 32MB of cache like previous model, (-1) egg for that.

Other Thoughts: I bought this drive thinking it was the 32MB cache version HDD, yet it is very hard to find a decent 5400RPM 2.5" HDD with desktop (large) cache sizes. This is a shadow/backup image drive for a 120GB Vertex2 SSD2 that runs hourly backups. Great build Western Digital, please make more of these HDDs after Thailand floods. I refuse to buy the Blue 8MB cache @ 5400RPM drives.
