This just jumped to over three-times the cost it was a couple of weeks ago. What's going on with the price on these drives?!

It has been my experience with Older Technology (Yeah I know doesn't seem right 250gb is older tech) (Possibly because of it being IDE as well) there are less in stock and then the price goes up - Anything below 1TB and NOT SATA is considered old Tech - Ran into the same issues some time ago - So if you can get a larger drive it would be cheaper since they have more of those in stock . Hope that helps (don't shoot the Messenger)
