Pros: looks like a well made drive, performace is great! No issues! Works great with Media Center! Great sustained throughput!

Cons: A bit warmer than slower more "green drives" This is a performace drive.

Pros: My laptops performance at 7200rpm vs. 5400 was nice! My boot up time dropped by almost 40 seconds! Other performance test showed a nice improvement.

Cons: The drive died on day three! I got a "Smart" warning to backup my data.

Other Thoughts: Are these 7200rpm drives running TOO hot to be installed in a laptop?????

Pros: Very decent drive, I installed it myself. I appreciate loading my blue ray movies on it. It stores everything, from my hip hop music,photo's,and old skool, debut movies. I'm very happy with it because it hasn't failed me. I keep my playstation on for at least 16 hrs a day, and I have it online every now and then. It seems as if the drive is flawless, I've talked to a few people and done some research. My friend has a hitachi in his laptop and he's had it for years without a problem. His PC has had one for over five and works just fine. I've owned this Hdd since April 20,2010

Cons: Man this ish is madd loud yo, It knocks like a gremlin is in my console! Hmmmm, I'm glad it doesn't do this for a long consistant time'

Other Thoughts: I'd like to find an external hdd of the same brand if this one holds up, but i think i better pick up a samsung external and get all my info b4 it crashes' I have used all but 15 gb, i'm kinda shook to use all of em' because the drive might crash'

Pros: Worked great the first six months

Cons: Started getting Hard Drive Failure in the seventh month, I'm going to RMA it, but since it has been a while i'll have to do it with Hitachi

Pros: Get price per MB. I really like the Hitachi drive

Cons: Non that I have found. Got what I bought.

Other Thoughts: I used this drive for a PS3 drive replacement. Works great.

Cons: Drive became defective after 2 months.

Pros: I bought 2 of these. One of them works...

Cons: ... the 2nd one is defective. Hitachi asks too much before they will honor the warranty, so I just threw it out and bought another one, a different brand.

Other Thoughts: $55 down the drain, 50% defect rate.

Pros: faster than the momentus 7200rpm 320gb.
little to no audible seeking sounds.

Cons: i have only used this drive for about 2 months and the load cycle count is already at 95% from 100% healthy.

Other Thoughts: I changed the APM and AAM to max performance and that hopefully will decrease the deterioration of load cycle and prolong the drive. Apart from that, the drive has been flawless.

Pros: Just as fast as the 100MB 7200 rpm Hitachi drive it replaced and nearly as quiet. Three year warranty confirmation via a web site is comforting.

Cons: It will probably outlast my laptop.

Other Thoughts: It's nice to have some elbow room.
