Pros: over all i'm satisfied with this drive. the 7200 rpm's do make a noticable difference(not hige but noticable) in sytem boot and runing applications i would recomend that any 1 unfortinate enough to b running vista on there lap top consider investing in 1 of these(some manufaturers skimp on the hdd and put in an obscenly slow 4200 rmp drive) lol new egg madw mw replace the word i wanted to use, but i still love them

Cons: i only wish it came larger capacity(only reason i give it 4 eggs not 5) i replaced a 160 GB drive with this for the performance gain and i do miss the space but the speed is nice

Other Thoughts: good drive if u need to up your lap tops performance (but rn't too concered about on board storage)

Pros: Good capacity for a laptop ATA drive, and reasonably quick as well. I especially like the lack of audible spindle and seek noise (well, it's very, very faint).

Cons: None come to mind.

Works in older laptop

Pros: Works great in my older pIII laptop. It's quiet compared to the old Hitachi 4200rpm unit that was in there before. (I was worried that it might be louder since it's almost twice as fast) No heat issues.

Cons: none, just plug and play
