Pros: 5 year warranty.

Cons: 5 year warranty.

Other Thoughts: The Seagate 5 year warranty only gives you a "refurbished" HD when its applied. I had this HD only a year when it died. The warrranty replacement HD died after only 3 boot ups. Now I have to warranty the warranty drive. Beause of this I cannot trust it will work for any given time. To me the warranty should replace a brand new "bad" drive with another brand new one, not a "rebuilt" one. To me its just another way the system works for them, not us. ALWAYS back up your data!

Pros: Purchased several of thesee drives and only 1 has acted up and Seagate took care of me in a short amount of time.
