5 out of 5 eggsWorks as intended!

Pros: Bought this back in 2009 for a good price, still works in 2013. I believe I'm using it for my main install drive, but I've moved drives around during that span of time, so I've lost track of it and can't remember off the top of my head. I know I haven't lost a drive, so it's either my install workhorse or one of my storage workhorses. Packing was satisfactory and I'm still glad this works. I'm used to replacing drives and installing this one was the same as any other, without any problems.

Cons: None.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Still runs after five years of use, albeit it does make a lot of noise when booting up. Little to no fragmentation, disk is still pretty decent.

Cons: Like I said, kind of loud on start up, but it goes away. I think it's actually defective, but hey. It runs.

2 out of 5 eggsDied after 2 years

Pros: The reason I chose Seagate over other brands was the brand name and it was very quiet

Cons: Other brands of Hard drives that I bought the same time period are still going strong, I will not use Seagate anymore!

1 out of 5 eggsSeagate HD

Pros: After the 2nd hard drive from seagate there are none

Cons: this is the 2nd HD that fried after 6 months of installing. Now working with Seagate since ther is a 3 years parts and labor warrenty. If they can replace it or not I will never buy another Seagate product.

Other Thoughts: Have 2x250Gig HD installed on computer one is just for the OS and the other is used as a storage device. The one I use as a OS drive is a Seagate my other is not. This allows for the system to run more efficient.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Hard Drive

Pros: I have been using this Seagate Model ST3250310AS hard drive since March of 2009. It has been absolutely reliable for me for almost two years.

Cons: -None-

Other Thoughts: After formatting the hard drive gives 232 gigabytes of hard drive storage space for data. I am hoping this hard drive will still give me great reliable service until the year 2014.

3 out of 5 eggs1 out of 3

Pros: quiet hard drives. Better then other brands I have used. easy rma.

Cons: first one I had die. Most trouble I have had with Hard drives have been with western digital, even the rma one was bad

Other Thoughts: I had one of three die with in 2 months. Had to send back Seagate. I mailed it October 9th, 2009. I recieved tracking information from Seagate on October 14th, 2009 with the new drive. Not bad turnaround, since the 9th was a Friday.

3 out of 5 eggs50/50

Pros: Bought 2 of the drives and got everything set up for RAID0. installed drivers and windows 7 and its rating system gave it a 5.9 for read/write speeds.

Cons: One of my two drives died 3 days later with only ~10 hours of use on it. just sent it in for an RMA.
