Pros: Bought many of these drives and so far NONE have had a problem. The 160gig is nice for storage and in a RAID setup these are the ones to link up in Security. Now that Maxtor and Seagate are one in the same I get Seagate otherwise I would still stickly a Maxtor Man..

Pros: Decently fast. Sata II. Slim drive, runs cool.

Cons: 7200.11. This series is known to have problems, so be aware of that.

Other Thoughts: Good for the price. Make a good backup drive or OS boot drive. Just make sure you keep your backups current in case it fails.

Pros: I have purchased two of these over the last two weeks for OS drives in VMware ESX hosts as home test systems. They both work beautifully, very fast, and quiet.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Better deal than the 80GB of the same drive for $5 more. You never know when you will need more space.
