I am replacing a ST9750423AS, which is no longer made.  Will the ST9750420AS be a compatable replacement?

I bought a Seagate Momentus ST9750420AS to replace the old disk on Lenovo X61. This one is compatible with ST9750423AS, but its write/read speed is faster than that of ST9750423AS. The RPM of ST9750420AS is 7200, while ST9750423AS is 5400 RPM.

Do you have a SSD with similar specs and form factor to this HD?

Newegg offers 2 different SSHD's from Seagate with somewhat similar specs to this drive (these are hybrid drives, not true SSDs), one being 500GB and one 1TB.  ST500LM000 and ST1000LM014.  Depending on which specs you're trying to match (because an SSD is simply NOT going to match a regular hard drive for performance specs), one of these might be a good option.  If you want a true SSD, ST480HM000 is the closest in size (480GB) currently sold on Newegg from Seagate.  It's a 7MM height rather than the 9.5mm of the drive you linked, but will obviously fit.

If your target is 750GB in a true SSD that will fit in the same slot as the drive listed, the Samsung MZ-7TE750BW will likely be your best match.  In case you're interested, the largest capacity SSD's currently sold on Newegg are 1TB.
