A great hard drive at a great price

Pros: Inexpensive, works well with external enclosures, fast, quiet

Cons: 16MB cache

Other Thoughts: Samsung has come a long way, their hard drives are dependable and in most cases are faster than Western Digitals and Seagates in their price range.

Another decent 1tb drive

Pros: Quiet, cheap, stores 1tb of data.

Cons: Compatability? I bought this drive for use with an ICY DOCK MB662US-2S enclosure. It would only show 8gb of capacity no matter what I tried (other drives worked fine in the Icy Dock) . Samsung's website was no help. So I put this one in my main computer directly where the drive worked fine.
