Cons: Very weak signal processing with constant re-syncing with some sources. Other Thoughts: I bought this projector as a drop in replacement of an Epson 6100. I have a PS3, Xbox360, Mac Mini, and PC hooked up to it via HDMI. A Wii hooked up via component, and a SVHS hooked up via Svideo. I have no problems with the Mac, PC, and SVHS. The Xbox360 will produce some image noise but settle down with no problems after a moment. The PS3 constantly drops all the way back to the "please wait" screen on the projector, often times resulting in a "no signal" message for up to two minuets before the image comes back. If the image from the Wii becomes too "bright" (an all white title screen for example) the projector will drop down to the "no signal" screen until the image darkens. While the Epson 6100 had none of the input problems in the same setup, the image quality from this Acer projector is vastly superior. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? Cory 6/19/2012 5:24:56 AM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 3/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 5/5Outstanding projector Pros: Amazing picture Bright image Crisp, clear colors Cons: cost finicky on video source settings Other Thoughts: The primary video source is a PS3, switched through a receiver, and drivng the projector through a Tripp Lite P167-000 HDMI over cat5 active extender. The screen is an EliteSCREENS Spectrum Series 100". As stated in the Pros, the picture is amazing. Projecting on a screen, the image is acceptable with most of the lights on (I still prefer the lights out). If you have lights too close to the screen, the image will wash out no matter how bright the projector is. At this size, you can clearly tell the difference between DVD and Blu-ray. I've now stopped buying DVDs when Blu-ray is available. I initially had some difficulty getting the PS3 to sync up with the projector, even directly connected, and additional fun as I added the other layers in between. I eventually isolated the issue to some of the Display and Video settings on the PS3. The defaults of some were a bit too much for one or more of the layers. Great resolution and plenty of inputs, lightweight for how powerful it is. Good lookin too. Cons: If only it mounted itself.... Cons: A little too big for business travel. Can see the typical DLP rainbow effect when blinking my eyes rapidly. Other Thoughts: Have this hooked into my home theater. It's pretty amazing, but even 4000 lumens isn't enough to overcome the brightness of my loft. Hooked up my DirecTV and Blu-Ray and everything works great.
