Connecting to you Mac
Connect the two type A USB connectors of the bundled Y- cable to your Mac, and the micro-USB connector to the ODD.
Checking if your Mac has detected the ODD
Click DISK UTILITY, then you can see external ODD in the list.
Inserting a disc that contains files
- A disc icon appears on the desktop when you insert a disc.
- To eject the disc, right-click the disc icon, then select Eject [Disc Name]. The Eject button does not work on Mac OS.
Burning files
- 1. When you insert a blank disc, a pop-up menu appears. Select an action and then click OK.
- 2. A disc icon appears when you click OK.
- 3. From your desktop, click the disc icon
- 4. Drag the files that you want to burn into the user interface.
- 5. Click Burn.
NOTES:
- To get sufficient power for the ODD, ensure that you connect the two type A USB connectors of the Y-cable to your Mac.
- Mac OS supports DVD burning and playback.
- Mac OS supports burning to a Blu-ray disc. You need to purchase third-party software if you want to play movies from Blu-ray discs.
- Does not support BOOTCAMP INSTALL Windows® OS.
