2 out of 5 eggsNot worth the money

Pros: It holds a camera/binoculars.

Cons: The legs aren't straight. It's just a heavier version a low-quality product.

Other Thoughts: Dolica customer service is horrible! I've contacted the RMA department multiple times for a new accessory screw and hook. I've given them the same information multiple times and they STILL keep replying asking me to fill out the same form! Dont expect any 'service' should you need anything from Dolica. Do yourself a favor and buy from a company who would appreciate your business.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Tripod

Pros: I've had this for nearly 3 years and it has yet to fail me. From mounting my dslr to large binoculars (and heavy traveling around the world), this tripod has done its job well.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGood, not great, but worth it!

Pros: Handles my heavy 7D with 70-200 lens without trouble. Has lasted me about 3 years now. Good adjustments, easy to extend legs. Light. Easy to take with me when hiking to waterfalls.

Cons: Used it once at the beach and now I have to throw it away. There's so much sand in the legs and head it's unbelievable. Extending a leg is like grinding rocks together. So, it's not very sealed against dust like they claim.

Other Thoughts: I've been shopping around for a new one since destroying my last one and I just can't find anything better for even double the price! I'm going to buy another one.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat tripod - even after a year

Pros: Holds Canon 5d Mark II with 17-40mm lens or 24-105mm and lens.
Has held up for over a year of very frequent use.
Lightweight.
Convenient carrying bag.
Legs spread wide for low shots.
Hook at bottom is great for holding camera backpack and anchoring the tripod in high winds.
Spikes in feet allow more stability, but can be twisted in for transport and for inside use.

Cons: The carrying case recently got a rip in the seam - but this is after approximately 150 trips with the tripod. I am pretty hard on equipment since I am generally shooting in mountain terrain and constantly taking tripod in and out of the carrying case on each hike.

Other Thoughts: I have used the tripod fully extended to its full height, and I have used the tripod spread out where the camera is just inches off the ground. I have also used the tripod in tidepools, on rocky ledges, and sandy beaches, and felt my camera (5d Mark II) was safe. I am 6 feet tall, and when the tripod is extended it is the perfect height for me.

I liked the tripod so much (after about 6 months of use) that I bought another one as a backup when i saw it on sale (just in case).

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad for price

Pros: Light
Small
strong

Cons: fell cheap

Other Thoughts: For $40 is a really good tripod. I wanted something small and light for traveling and give this a try. The tripod is strong and stayed at any angle with my 60D. The only think i don't like is that the legs feels cheap compared to my other one that i paid a little more. But i do recommended for traveling purpose or if you are in a budget.

3 out of 5 eggsNot so PRO

Pros: Compact and it comes with its own case. I like the ability to change the pitch of the legs quickly, and the adaptability of the pod.

Cons: I bought it because I wanted a compact, lightweight pod that was quick to set up and take down in times where I need to move quickly to different locations. This pod is the same you see on the rack at Best Buy or Walmart, so don't pay more for this than you would there. Except for a couple of more advanced features, it's not the most stable pod. The legs get "stuck" when popping out the pod or putting it away. I'm considering applying some light silicone grease to help with that.

Other Thoughts: It would be nice if the case had a strap that were more adjustable. It doesn't seem to fit a shoulder of an adult comfortably, and it doesn't have clips to take the strap on or off.

4 out of 5 eggsNice and Cheap!

Pros: This is a nice a cheap tripod that can handle a very light setup. A small DSLR with a normal lens, or any point and shoot camera. For $25 I figure I could have it as a backup.

Comes with a nice carry case.

Cons: The stance is not very wide.

A quick tap on the legs and you will see that it vibrates.

Other Thoughts: My primary tripod is a Benro Travel Angel A-269M8 w/ Benro BH-1 Ballhead.

4 out of 5 eggsDolica AX620B100 Professional Tripod

Pros: Cost & quality alright for the price. Holds DSLR and telephoto lens quite firmly, legs are heavy enough and stable.

Cons: No manual. So you have to figure out by yourselves how the knobs work and what each are for. Leg length adjustment plastic clips/locks feels too tight, fearful of breaking them at first use. Oil/Grease smell.

Other Thoughts: Serves the purpose.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Customer Service!!

Pros: Very stable head, cheap!

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: I received item with a cracked rubber foot. Newegg wanted me to pay shipping fee to send it back for replacement so I contacted Dolica for a warranty support. Not only they sent me a new rubber foot right away, but also the customer service representative (His name was Brian) actually called my phone to walk through the repair process! Wow! that was an amazing experience! I would not second guess on purchasing Dolica product anymore. I'll buy their product knowing that they will stand by their product!

Kudos to Brian at Dolica but Newegg, you should follow A m a z o n to pay for the defective item's shipping fee.

5 out of 5 eggsjust got this today, and i love it

Pros: I'm not a pro, but tonight I took some shots with this tripod and I love it. I have a D7k with a 35mm and to me this tripod just wanna make me buy more lenses.

Cons: Nothing to complain about because this is my first tripod (when I get better i'm sure i will have a opinion).

Other Thoughts: just buy it, it's so cheep
