Pros: All in all a high quality product. Functions as expected.

Cons: After a year and a half of ownership (beyond the 1 year warranty) the tablet would no longer start. The screen would flash briefly when the power button was depressed, but nothing else happened. The battery also would not charge. Upon further research, I found that a common issue caused the battery connection to become loose. I was able to easily open the case and plug the battery back in, and now it works fine.

Pros: Fits perfectly

Cons: Took a little while

Other Thoughts: There were some issues with me ordering the wrong case. Absolutely my fault. They were wonderful and sent me the correct case with a film and a stylus for free. My experience with their support staff was wonderful and I would recommend ordering from this seller if at all possible.

If the problem persists, please press and hold the power button, repeat this process a couple of times, until you see an Android logo or a battery icon. Pros: This was a great little tablet. Very smooth, great display and lightning fast. I picked it up in February and was really excited for this tablet and its future potential with KitKat on the horizon.

Cons: First thing I noticed unboxing was how short the charging cable is. Its significantly shorter than all of my other devices. And then the updates rolled out. Immediately my battery life got cut significantly. Went from being able to use regularly for a few days before needing to recharge to not even being able to spend an hour or maybe a couple hours before the getting a low power alert. To make things even worse there were charging issues too. First noticed when I plugged in one night before bed and in the morning it had made nearly no progress. Then even more aggravating was it not even being able to maintain while using with it plugged in. I started troubleshooting everything and ruled out any issue with the charger and cable. Did some research and found other having same problem. So then I started reaching out to support. First was google, who took absolutely no ownership of this being their issue with software, and they directed me to Asus support. So then I make that call and run into the same issue. They want to run through all the same generic troubleshooting methods they have online but that's it.
No other info. No admission that there is an issue with software that they are working through. Nothing. There is nothing more frustrating than a company that doesn't take ownership of problems. Not only has my time been wasted going through calling in to support, going through scripted troubleshooting steps, and in the end having to just sit, wait and gamble that there is an update to fix this, but now I have the inconvenience of having an expensive paperweight and have to figure out other ways to do everything I was using the Nexus for.

Other Thoughts: This is a great tablet, but I would stay away from it until things are sorted out with KitKat.

Pros: +Great gamings on it
+Long battery
+Mult-tasks
+32 GB
+WiFi

Cons: I had been used it within 4 months until my Nexus 7 tablet failed. I tried to turn on it with my charging, but it doesn't turn on the screen. I have one year warrantly on my purchase. I am not very happy that my Nexus 7 tablet is dead. I will call the customer service about to replace new one for me sooner.

Pros: Great apps smooth running. Couldn't leave home without it.until of course it went on the blink after 11 months.

Cons: After initial problems at 11 months and need to constantly rebooting at 12months and 2 weeks it finally stopped working. 2 weeks out of warranty after some research it appears this is a common problem. I expected better quality from google. My advice is to pay a little extra for quality. My next tablet will be an Apple product.

Other Thoughts: How can they help potential customers? Take nexus 7 off the market - don't cheat their customers out of hard earned cash.

2 out of 5 eggsASUS Google Nexus 7 (DOA)

Pros: I just received the package two hours ago. None yet

Cons: As stated in several reviews, my tablet was DOA also. I re-visited the reviews on this product and did verify the power source is good. My next step was going to be letting the power supply drain for 24 hrs, but first I decided to try another power supply with USB port, the unit did power up with the battery ICON and is currently charging. If it continues and becomes fully charged I will keep it. It would seem this an on going problem, the tech rep replies often with reset instructions. If this is the case I would like an upgraded power supply

Pros: I've been using the tablet for 5 months so far. It loads quickly, holds a great deal of apps and I've found it easy to use and maneuver. The screen is very nice as it doesn't scratch. The display is very clear and bright. Emails and notifications come through quickly. I use several browsers and each are supported. I'm very pleased with the product.

Cons: Music. Unless you are only going to use the Google, you are out of luck. It doesn't support Windows Media Player, ITunes, etc. This was very upsetting to me as most of my music is within those programs. I have tried workarounds with no luck. I have tried to add my music and videos, but only one video uploaded. Very, very frustrating and disappointing.

Pros: Asus has and still is a great name for motherboards, laptops, but for tablets they need a lot of improvement. The price for the tablets with 32gb ram is great, see con's below

Cons: Bought 4 units, the mini usb port went bad in 2 days meaning short or loose connection in two of the 4 units. Both exchanged but due to way adapters packed, one would not make connection due to short in adapter as they are packed tightly and bent right where they are weak. Mini USB and adapters cheap and will not last.

Other Thoughts: if Asus replaces the adapters and uses better and stronger mini USB port the unit would be great.

4 out of 5 eggsTablets; more fun than I anticipated!

Pros: Definitely a big fan of the scratch-proof feature; I have a nephew & niece that always ask to play with it. Usually I'd have to supervise, concerned an expensive piece of tech might get dropped and broken, but now I can just hand it over and not have to worry :D

Cons: I'd heard this model can be tempermental and there's a chance of being sold a faulty device, but I guess I've been lucky so far! Here's hoping it lasts :)

Other Thoughts: My niece/nephew love it and I couldn't be happier! Plus, playing solitaire on a wider tablet trumps playing it on a tiny Android phone anyday! :)
