4 out of 5 eggsLenovo Ideapad A1

Pros: Nice screen, fast

Cons: a little to eager to send you to the next screen; a little too difficult to get back to the last screen. Poor sound quality (but, what can you expect. I haven't yet triid it with headphones).

Other Thoughts: Just like an android smart phone with a bigger screen. All of the draw backs and all of the advantages (except making calls). If I can figure out how to tether, I may come back and give 5 stars.

2 out of 5 eggsA purchase that I now regret

Pros: came to me almost like new, takes sdcard

Cons: painfully sluggish. shutoff by itself, very very very very long boot up time.

Other Thoughts: At least I can load videos onto the sdcard and give it to entertain my young kids.

4 out of 5 eggsNot too bad

Pros: I have 2 of these (9 mo.), I upgraded them to ICS using the Lenovo ROM from their site. They are used daily for e-mail, games, web browsing, Face Book, and e-book reading and they are fine for that type of use. They are even able to watch Netflix, YouTube, and videos in H-264 format. Has expandable SD slot for an additional 32G of storage and USB port for connection to the PC. Good screen resolution for watching videos with the right video player app.

Cons: Not the fastest and short on memory with only 512K and a little power hungry unless you use an app to control the power use.

Other Thoughts: Good choice for an e-mail, or e reader. GPS works OK, the camera feature is a little week

1 out of 5 eggsLenovo A1

Pros: It's a tablet, sort of.

Cons: Lag. Battery life. Touch screen response.

Other Thoughts: This is the worst thing I think I have ever bought in the 57yrs that I've been alive. It lags, is doggy, and I want to throw it through the wall, except then I'd have to repair the wall.

It is so frustrating. I didn't expect a top of the line product with it's specs, but I did expect it to be usable. I haven't been able to anything with it except try to tweak it to get as much out of it as I can.

1 out of 5 eggsIts waste of Money

Pros: Less price. Other other reason to buy

Cons: Its totally waste of money. You can get some good Tablet PC outside, which are better touch response and fast.
Lots of drawbacks.
1) Slow in response.
2) Charging drys too fast.
3) Touch is not that smooth, Just OK.
4) Resolution is low.

Other Thoughts: I am trying to return this item. But, NewEgg not accepting returns on this item. And I paid $127, Now the price is $99. I felt bad that Its not worth at all.

1 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: Light, looks good, price was great. Sounded like a bargain.

Cons: Second replacement: Has so many issues too numerous to mention. These are just inferior tablets that you would not expect from Leveno. Cheap and unreliable product-You get what you pay for! Bought a Nexus/Asus 7 now .

Other Thoughts: Have returned two defective units and will just keep the replacement again to make sure I don't buy another Lenovo product- Would be embarrassed to give to some one else as it would not last long before the tablet has one of it's numerous problems.

1 out of 5 eggsWasted Washingtons

Pros: None at this point. Save your money and don't buy. Company getting rid of bad product.

Cons: Bad product period. Poor factory refurb.

Other Thoughts: Battery won't hold charge. Have not been able to get on the web yet. Don't see how this is going to turn out in my favor.

2 out of 5 eggsUndependable

Pros: Defective product: in less than 24 hours, numerous problems including randomly locks up/shuts down for no reason. Cannot save screen rotation. Cannot remove some downloads. Force close works only sporadically - requires complete reboot.

Cons: menu buttons do not light up until pressed which misses the point, shuts down randomly, limited set up manage app options

Other Thoughts: This was a refurb and my issues were same as others reported. Best to avoid even for good price.
