Will this work on a 55LN5790 model LG TV?

Hello Jonathon--I'm reasonably sue that it will. The unit is very well made and very stout. The TV I used this for is a 29" LG. The mount is actually a little too large for our 29". The only issue I had is with the instructions. Size is important! Get out your magnifying glass and be prepared to fill in a few blanks that were left out. All said, I would buy it again.

What is the wall bracket size? Length and width?

I think it is about 8 in. wide by 18 in. long. I installed it at my sons house quite a while ago. I hope this helps

I see this says " 75 x 75mm, 100 x 100mm, 200 x 100mm, 200 x 200mm, and 400 x 400mm." Would it also work with 300x200mm?

Yes. I have an old TV that was some obscene measurement like 400x200 and finding a mount was no joy. Basically it is "up to 400x400" with anything in between.
