The new Polk Audio Monitor series is a quality-built, affordable line of high performance loudspeakers for music and home theater. Among the new Monitor series speakers, the Monitor 15C is a high efficiency center channel speaker which delivers more detailed high frequency response for more realistic imaging. The heavy duty enclosure is reversible for more flexible placement options above or below your television. The Monitor 15C is available with black and cherry wood grain finish, with titanium faces. The stylish look complements today’s flat screen technology.

Multiple small-diameter driver design The Monitor 15C is equipped with three small-diameter drivers (one 1-inch dome tweeter and dual 5 1/4-inch midrange drivers). This design delivers wide dispersion, better mid-range, and more detailed bass response for an open, "box-less" three-dimensional sound. Plus, crossovers use Mylar bypass capacitors for more detailed high frequencies.
Enclosure enables greater sound and flexible placement Non-resonant all-MDF enclosure construction with 3/4-inch thick baffles ensures cleaner, clearer, more lifelike sound quality. Enclosure is reversible for optimal placement above or below your television screen.
Dual 5-way binding post connectors Dual 5-way binding post connectors allows for more secure hook-up options, as well as bi-wiring and bi-amping flexibility.

Cons: It's ridiculously large. Other Thoughts: This thing is huge. For reference, I have a Yamaha RX-V473 (17-1/8” W x 6-3/8” H x 12-3/8” D) and the 15C is both wider and taller than that. Don't buy this beast without first considering how you're going to park it. To illustrate how important that advice is, I had to take the size of this speaker into consideration when looking for a new TV bench/entertainment center. Size wasn't just a factor; it was a primary concern. Chronic gigantism notwithstanding, the 15C sounds amazing. I upgraded from a small, old Kenwood home theater set and I was floored by the vast performance improvement the moment I heard this baby sing. Cons: None so far Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace my Polk CS1 since I had pulled the trigger on 2 of the new Polk Monitor 75T and wanted the speakers to be uniform. Was going to get the 25C but the dimensions made it such that I had to go with the 15C as I barely had clearance for it let alone the 25C which was almost an inch taller. Comparing it to the cs1, it's slightly better but I'm not entirely sure it's much better than it but I'm still in the break in period. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? A nice match with the other new Polk Monitor speakers that use the 5.25" drivers. High quality construction. Everything sounds full, crisp & clear. Cons: None so far. Other Thoughts: I am really happy with this purchase. I bought this to go with the 45B bookshelf speakers I ordered, and everything sounds awesome all hooked up. I thought about getting the 25C but figured the 5.25" drivers would be a better match for the 5.25" drivers in the bookshelf's. If you have the floor standing speakers with the 6.5" drivers then you probably want the 25C to match. It's definitely not a con, but this center is kind of big compared to a lot of others. Make sure you check the dimensions before you order to make sure this size will work for you. I highly recommend the 15C and you won't be disappointed with the sound or build quality. There was 0 damage to the box or the speaker, which leads me to believe someone forced in the components of the speaker, sealed it shut, and shipped it without caring about quality. I had to pay almost $30 to ship it back (which I sent a week ago, and it just got there yesterday...who knows how long I have to wait to get it back) to get a replacement for something that was damaged through no fault of my own.
