What is it's rated distance; 65+ 30+ ???

The area I am in has the repeaters within 25 miles and it pulls in everything I need.  It's relatively small surface-area-wise and depends on amplification for weaker signals so I am not sure how well it would perform beyond the 35 mile window. Sorry I couldn't give you more feedback on range.

I see two winegard ms2002 antennas. is this one for over the air t v stations?

Yes. This antenna is used to receive low-band VHF (channels 2-6), high band VHF (channels 7-13) and UHF (channels 14-51).

It can be used to receive both digital HDTV as well as the few analog TV translators still operating.

We use one MS-2002 aboard our RV and a second MS-2002 aboard our sailboat.

I live in an apartment, thus cannot mount on roof or attach to building. I now use an indoor antenna in my upstairs window, but have to move for certain channels.. Will this antenna work indoors, near a window?

Yes, this antenna will work indoors near a window. You can also build a bracket to hang it outside next to the window. What will also work is if you have an attic, mount it there. I have mine in the attic of the garage (because my wife doesn't want a flying saucer on top of the house) and it feeds 3 TV's with acceptable signal to each TV.

what is the range?

Range is very good.  I live in Northern Michigan and must reach three seperate towers in three different directions so that is why I went with this antenna.  Got tired of always adjusting my other antenna for my channels.  One tower is 30 miles South, one is 30 miles NNE and one is 20 miles due North from my home.  I get great reception with all three and I live in a valley, plus Northern Michigan is quite hilly as they say.  I am totally happy with this antenna.  It was easy to install being I already had cable and roof mount from my old antenna.  My antenna is only about three feet above the peak of my single story home.    Good luck

can this antenna be connected to existing wires from direct tv and how many tv's will it accomodate?

Hi;

I don't know exactly what you mean about connecting this to the wires from your DirectTV, but if you simply mean, "can I use the existing coax cable that USED to be hooked to my DirectTV, then the answer is yes!

These require the same 2-conductor coax hook-up that cable TV requires from the service box outside. You will want to make certain that you have a coax/ground cable connector somewhere in the cable run however. This is simply a solid copper grounding wire that grounds out the antenna in the event of a lightening strike.

I have bought 4 of these in the past few years because they are fantastic for watching FREE HD broadcasts. I presently pull over 27 different channels with mine right now.

4. I found another clamp assembly at a resale store (junk Shop).
