5 out of 5 eggsWise Choice in Subwoofers

Pros: Simple design, down firing/rear facing port, above average RMS and dynamic wattage for the price, reputable brand, reasonable warranty and trusted name in audio, music and movies are greatly enhanced (with proper placement and adjustment)

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I've owned a Klipsch KSW-12 for a little over 13 years now and vibrates anything within a few feet away. As with any speaker, they sound better as they get older. Got this model to augment the KSW-12 and it did indeed make a huge difference in overall bass enhancement. It's all about that bass. No need to waste money elsewhere.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Bought 2 of these from Newegg and they are awesome! Running a Yamaha receiver with a set of Quintet 5s and it sounds great with movies and music. Clean bass, excellent lows without distortion and beware of an absolutely pounding experience! Klipsch has amazing quality with affordability! Thanks NE.

Cons: If you don't have a large room, go with the 8". These are kind of big, but if you don't lack space these are perfect

1 out of 5 eggsBad shippment

Pros: Was still in cardboard. though too much tape.

Cons: the people at UPS skewered it with A Hi-Lo and still shipped it to me anyhow. my company received the package. I opened the box seen the sub was very damaged. missing a knob and power switch.

Other Thoughts: Newegg, after some phone calls and and a UPS claim finally, got to the bottom of it. should have a new sub in a few days.
THX again Newegg

5 out of 5 eggsGreat sub with great sound

Pros: I actually bought this sub from a brick and mortar over a year ago and have been extremely happy with the overall sound quality of this great sub. Every other speaker in my system, now all Polk TSI series, has been upgraded except this sub. I have an open floor plan so my living room(where my HT is), dining room, and kitchen are all one large space and this sub fills the large area easily, and most importantly, with CLEAN bass. A lot of subs on the market can be played loudly but suffer from a boomy sound. This sub is extremely tight due to the good size amp and larger 10" woofer. This is a great sub at any price range and will blend nicely with all but the highest end HT systems.

Cons: Of course it isn't small but cabinet space has a lot to do with how low your sub can go and this sub easily plays to 25Hz with good SPL.

Other Thoughts: My brother in law has the model one step up with a 12" 600 watt amp but I can't tell any difference between his sub and mine. Both great products from Klipsch.
