5 out of 5 eggsThe most "Bang" for your "Bump..... >:3 see what I did there?!

Pros: HITS...HARD, Rich deep BASS That fills the room, beautiful design box, and at a crazy low price. I owned 1 for 3 years now, and once I saw this for more than 50% off it was a no brainer. Having one was amazing so having food means it has to be better. I have one in the front of my living room in the left corner and the second one in the back right corner of the room. Set to 180 phase. now imagine watching gravity or interstellar with both of these bad boys firing off. We are talking about full immersion bass from front and back, that's totally engulfs your body.

Cons: That my neighbors in the lower and upper apartment have given me noise complains, not really sure if that's a con lol

4 out of 5 eggsThundering Astroids!

Pros: Great bass! Rocks the whole room and seats! Great construction / looks.

Cons: Blue LED bright in dark room
Shipped in its own box; no double boxing
Box arrived damaged (but SW is functional w/o visible damage)
Box had small piece of glass embedded
Auto on/off doesn't always work

Other Thoughts: When on sale, this is a great buy. Larger than what I thought it was going to be. Has left/right RCA patch sockets, but you really just need one cable for left on SW and receiver.

The shipping box was the actual box used to house the SW. It arrived damaged, with tears on one corner and a hole in one side. The SW is suspended inside about 1.5" away from the side of the box. The plastic wrapping bag showed signs of impact, but the SW itself showed no visible damage.

There was a small piece of glass embedded in on the outside of the box. Presumably, this was from the shipping company

5 out of 5 eggsGreat component

Pros: Part of an overall system upgrade. Joins 4 Klipsch B-20 for front & rear plus a Klipsch C-20 center. This is a small room so didn't go wild with larger or higher end gear. Sounds great to my ears.

Cons: None I can think of.

5 out of 5 eggsQuite an upgrade

Pros: Solid response, bass is clear, wide and powerful

Light years better than an old Polk sub I replaced

Nice aesthetic, cabinet fits in well and is not too onerous in size

Connectors and adjustments are all standard, adjusted the cross over after two weeks of breaking in, it takes the sub a bit to break in to truly sound best

For fun I hit the sub hard with "the real me" and the low freqs rattled the walls in fairly large living room without distortion

Cons: None other than this sub does not support the connector required for the klipsch specialized wireless kit. Be forewarned that despite the klipsch website showing compatibility it is not

Other Thoughts: Very happy with this purchase. Will be using another vendors wireless kit to be able to reposition in my 5.1 arrangement

5 out of 5 eggsHow to write a review

Pros: Please rate/review a product based on the merits of the PRODUCT. Do not rate a product on the merits of a 3rd party seller, shipping company, or whatever irrelevant whim you choose to share. This should go without saying but common sense isn't as common as you think.

Cons: n/a

5 out of 5 eggsPrice far betrays what is a stellar product!

Pros: Beautiful CLEAR lows. Augments my Sony floor standing speakers (Model SS-F6000), Klipsch Center Channel Speaker (Model KSC-C1) and a pair of Klipsch Quintet SL surrounds I bought off of an auction site as if the system was crafted together and then sent to different sellers for me to to find, the heavens opened up and they somehow decided to merge into this fantastic home theater package. Controls on the back are easy enough to work with, Crossover frequency knob along with gain knob, user replaceable fuse, On/Auto/Off switch to keep the back I/O clean and simple. I keep the XOver somewhere around the 80-90 Hz band and the gain around Medium yet it still shakes parts of my house (2500 sf) on the exact opposite end of the house. Power LED on the front is noticeable but not in that obnoxious way that some power LEDs on the front of a PC case will blind you if you stare at it straight on. Comes with included rubber/foam pads to put on the bottom of the feet in case you own laminate/hardwood flooring. The scene at the beginning of LoTR:TFoTR where Sauron is defeated caused my cat to go running for cover, wouldnt come out from under the bed for a solid hour. My next plan is to use a few boss battle scenes from Gears Of War and possible the T-Rex scenes from Jurassic Park as a further test, since I used these previously on a set of Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers (that are supposedly rated THX) and it was an incredible experience from just a little 6.5". I can only hope its much bigger brother can live up to my expectations.

Cons: The enclosure is HUGE! If you place this side by side next to a previous generation Klipsch Synergy 12, the SW-450 is BIGGER! I dont necessarily consider this a con but it just seems that this puts the sub a bit out of place but if they can squeeze the performance of a 12 out of a 10 by just modifying the enclosure then by all means PLEASE do so. The power plug uses the slightly annoying 2 pin plug similar to the plug used on the back of some VCRs, DVD Players and the slim version PS3 instead of the standard ATX power plug. The plug also doesnt fit all the way into the recepticale on the sub, it goes about halfway in and then just kinda hangs out, making you think it has further to go and feels a little bit loose.

Other Thoughts: This sub ... can you really ask for a lot more when the pricetag is (at the time I purchased it) $200 and Newegg charge a whole $1.99 to ship it? I mean I feel like that is just a fantastic bargain and I normally do not click "Add To Cart" until I have exhausted ALL other options. I found this same sub on a competitor website (Starts with an A), $50 more w/ $15 S&H. Found it again on the same site for $220, $5 S&H. Went to a different auction site (Starts with an e) and found NewEggs listing for it for $200 w/ $1.99 to ship it. If I had more money at the time along with the space available I would have bought 2, if not to have for my own personal use but to keep and possibly sell for a modest profit.

5 out of 5 eggsWise Choice in Subwoofers

Pros: Simple design, down firing/rear facing port, above average RMS and dynamic wattage for the price, reputable brand, reasonable warranty and trusted name in audio, music and movies are greatly enhanced (with proper placement and adjustment)

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I've owned a Klipsch KSW-12 for a little over 13 years now and vibrates anything within a few feet away. As with any speaker, they sound better as they get older. Got this model to augment the KSW-12 and it did indeed make a huge difference in overall bass enhancement. It's all about that bass. No need to waste money elsewhere.
