5 out of 5 eggsGreat Speakers!

Pros: Very well built and sturdy. The sound is crisp and clear and can provide some descent bass for the tower.

Cons: Very large

Other Thoughts: Be sure you have a really large TV otherwise these towers will over power your room. Mine fit in just right but they just dwarf everything in the room. Definitely and awesome buy.

4 out of 5 eggsNot what I'm used to from Klipsch

Pros: They do actually sound good, and for getting a pair for less than the MSRP of a single, a great value as well. These would be absolutely amazing with the full synergy set in a 5.0 - 7.1 setup. No subwoofer is really required with the bass these supply unless you need one for rap/pop/techno/etc..

Cons: To be fair, my other Klipsch experiences were with the Heritage series, which are in a completely different price range, and my current main speakers are a pair of JBL LSR studio monitors.

The horns on these hardly amplify the tweeter, and it takes a lot more power through an amp to make them as loud as I expected. Also, the horns do not give a good listening angle of highs, as you have to be sitting down with your head at at the same level as the tweeters to really get the appropriate sound. There also is an over overaccentuated bass with a lacking midrange in these, which Klipsch is usually the opposite. It wouldn't be too bad for most listeners, but it makes them pair up poorly on a 2.1 system and a 500 watt RMS subwoofer.

Other Thoughts: Some reviewers commented on the poor quality of the feet, but I found them to be extremely durable and strong despite being made out of plastic.

If you want to hear for yourself the sound that made Klipsch famous and have the cash laying around, try out some of their Heritage La Scala or Klipsch Horn series for yourself!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Speakers

Pros: Sound great. I initially hooked them up with regular speaker wire and on just a single channel. Then a audiophile friend came over and explained bi-amping and told me to get some better wire. I did that, and wow. These things sound amazing.

Cons: Could use a little more mids.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic!

Pros: There Fun! Nice full sound. Huge sound stage. You'll hear things in movies and music you've never heard before. And Price!

Cons: None so far.Seriously doubt there will be.

Other Thoughts: There Klipsch speakers. Do your research. They sound amazing on my system. Mainly because my AVR has super smooth highs and very nice clean tight bass. Will it sound like that on your system? Couldn't tell you. I've had several friends and family over to watch movies and listen to music. Get a lot of "that sounds amazing" then i tell them the price and the look on there face is worth it. Love em!

5 out of 5 eggsNice!!!

Pros: When the boxes arrive they will be HUGE due to the packing but when you unpack these babies you will smile and they look much much better in person than in the photos. The build quality is excellent and mine arrived undamaged. These speakers are very efficient and deliver clean crisp highs and mids from the horns with bass you can feel. After you begin to break them in they will impress you as they will sound better and better. With music they sound very good but with movies they really sound great. Im using them as my fronts in a 5.1 setup with a C20 center and S10's for the rears with an onkyo reciever @ 80w x 5 and the system sounds incredible. I also have a Kenwood 100w sub but i rarely use it since im currently in an apartment and the F-30's produce such great bass.

Cons: I think they could have provided a better grill attachment method. I drove them pretty good one day and the grill on one fell off.

Other Thoughts: If your thinking about upgrading to these you wont be dissapointed. Got mine for 199.99 with free shipping.

5 out of 5 eggsKlipsch beats Polk

Pros: Sold some vintage ESS speakers and got Polk 75Ts. To sharp a sound and no depth so I went back to Klipsch as I already have the F-10s. The F-30s are fantastic. Have depth and superb clarity. Sale to Audiovox some years ago has not hurt the Klipsch quality and sound.

Cons: Hard to get grill mounted and do not come in cherry or walnut.

5 out of 5 eggsKlipsch Synergy F-30 Premium Dual 8" Floor-standing Speaker Single

Pros: Don’t hesitate! Sure there are other very nice options out there, but for the money (I got these for $199 each, thanks Newegg!) and even if you pay a little more it’s not likely you will match the performance of the F-30s. You’d have to pay $1000 per cabinet to match or out perform these. Don’t be fooled by the horn, it will put out all the highs AND mids you’d expect from a 3 way or even a 4 way set up. The separation is unbelievable for only having a horn (1 inch driver!) with dual 8 inch woofers. The Klipsch horn and their reputation are legendary for a reason. Not to mention they’ve been in the business longer than just about anyone else out there.

I cranked these up a little over half of what they can handle and was able to hear the music clearly and with no distortion OUTSIDE my house. That’s with all the windows, blinds and doors closed. My house is an energy efficient home, well insulated, high efficiency windows, blinds etc. In short, the F30s are capable of putting out enormous sound, with little power and no distortion. You will not be sorry.

Read the specs, these are floor standing speakers. They’re large and heavy! That’s how they’re capable of such stellar performance. Some of these guys take away a star for those reasons when it’s their own stupidity that they’re not happy with. If you’re worried about size, weight and space go buy some cube speakers. Better yet just use your embarrassing TV speakers because you wouldn’t know good sound if you heard it. :)

Cons: Surprisingly, there’s only one thing I can complain about and this complaint is to Klipsch directly. These speakers should’ve been made in the USA. Discredit to Klipsch as an American company for shipping American jobs and money overseas, but credit to China as this is the highest quality item I’ve seen from there.

Other Thoughts: These speakers are very impressive and I haven't even bi-amped them yet. They sound so good I'm not in any hurry to do so. I set them up with a C-20 (center), a pair of S-20s (rears) and an MTX 12” sub. I’m extremely happy with this set up.
