2 out of 5 eggsSounds flat

Pros: Cheap price when they are on sale
Low distortion
Large (if you are into large speakers)

Cons: Sounds flat
Too large for my taste
Very expensive to return if you don't like them

Other Thoughts: I bought these mainly because they were heavily discounted on NewEggFlash, and they had good reviews. They were less than half the cost of the reference speakers that I really wanted and I figured I wouldn't be able to hear the difference. Boy was I wrong!
After setting up the speakers there was absolutely nothing impressive about the sound. Especially the flat highs and mids. And to top it off my wife was upset by how very large they were. I quickly came to the realization that speakers this large should have an impressive sound, or they should be replaced by something smaller. So I upgraded to the Klipsch RF-52 II front speakers and am so glad I did.
Now I have the problem of getting rid of the F-30s. Shipping them back to Newegg is cost prohibitive so I need to sell them locally at a loss.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well as a L & R

Pros: Very loud, the tweeter is killer. Compared to a RB-51s and a RC-52, its an upgrade all on its own. I would recommend a subwoofer, but I would never recommend a System without a sub, even with 10 thousand dollar speakers.

Cons: i saw it on sale and could only afford one, so I only have one. I've decided to move to rf-82s so this will be my center soon with polk 60 floor standers as my sats.... Nothing that matters.

Other Thoughts: love this speaker, the Polks are half the price, and the RF82s are only gonna be only a bit more so this loses for no quality reasons.

5 out of 5 eggsThese sound fantastic!

Pros: The mids and highs are spectacular, very clear and articulate. The lows are acceptable depending on the mix of the song, however, since most everyone has become accustom to loads of bass, then most everyone will still want a sub to accompany these speakers. At the moment the jury is still out for me on that decision.
The more I push these speakers with my Yamaha Rx-V675 receiver, the clearer and punchier they become, and that's also when the bass becomes the most prevalent. .
I'm not sure why some reviewers would say these don't have good mids or highs, because believe me they do. I've been exposed to various aspects of high-end musical and audio equipment for more than 30 years now, and these speakers are great for the price, in fact, you'd be hard pressed to find it's equivalent in this price range.
As long as your receiver is of a decent caliber, then you will not be disappointed with this purchase.

Cons: One of the plastic feet was broken during shipping, so I'll need to reach out to Klipsh and see if they'll mail me a replacement foot peg.

Other Thoughts: Please don't let audio snobs and prima donnas dissuade you from purchasing these if this best fits your budget.
Of course speakers that are $1,000 more will (or should) sound better. Reviewers that talk about their glory days of the King Klipsh line and then trash these need to go back to the 70's. The fact that these are manufactured in China is the reason that the average working person can now afford Klipsh.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Speakers!

Pros: Very well built and sturdy. The sound is crisp and clear and can provide some descent bass for the tower.

Cons: Very large

Other Thoughts: Be sure you have a really large TV otherwise these towers will over power your room. Mine fit in just right but they just dwarf everything in the room. Definitely and awesome buy.

4 out of 5 eggsNot what I'm used to from Klipsch

Pros: They do actually sound good, and for getting a pair for less than the MSRP of a single, a great value as well. These would be absolutely amazing with the full synergy set in a 5.0 - 7.1 setup. No subwoofer is really required with the bass these supply unless you need one for rap/pop/techno/etc..

Cons: To be fair, my other Klipsch experiences were with the Heritage series, which are in a completely different price range, and my current main speakers are a pair of JBL LSR studio monitors.

The horns on these hardly amplify the tweeter, and it takes a lot more power through an amp to make them as loud as I expected. Also, the horns do not give a good listening angle of highs, as you have to be sitting down with your head at at the same level as the tweeters to really get the appropriate sound. There also is an over overaccentuated bass with a lacking midrange in these, which Klipsch is usually the opposite. It wouldn't be too bad for most listeners, but it makes them pair up poorly on a 2.1 system and a 500 watt RMS subwoofer.

Other Thoughts: Some reviewers commented on the poor quality of the feet, but I found them to be extremely durable and strong despite being made out of plastic.

If you want to hear for yourself the sound that made Klipsch famous and have the cash laying around, try out some of their Heritage La Scala or Klipsch Horn series for yourself!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Speakers

Pros: Sound great. I initially hooked them up with regular speaker wire and on just a single channel. Then a audiophile friend came over and explained bi-amping and told me to get some better wire. I did that, and wow. These things sound amazing.

Cons: Could use a little more mids.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic!

Pros: There Fun! Nice full sound. Huge sound stage. You'll hear things in movies and music you've never heard before. And Price!

Cons: None so far.Seriously doubt there will be.

Other Thoughts: There Klipsch speakers. Do your research. They sound amazing on my system. Mainly because my AVR has super smooth highs and very nice clean tight bass. Will it sound like that on your system? Couldn't tell you. I've had several friends and family over to watch movies and listen to music. Get a lot of "that sounds amazing" then i tell them the price and the look on there face is worth it. Love em!
