Pros:
Nice speedy processor. I use it in a computer as a media server, as well as use it for calculations. The on-chip video worked on Ubuntu 12.04 with no problem. Hopefully AMD will catch up, but right now I like the speed relative to power consumption of Intel.
Cons:
Had to update to kernel 3.8 for HDMI audio (this is well documented). Shouldn't be a problem with Ubuntu 14.04 and probably not a problem for Windows.
