Pros:
Cheap. Descent IPC (single threaded performance). Stays cool and quiet even with the stock cooler.
Cons:
None.
Overall Review:
I purchased this for a home server. I'm running Windows 8 as the host with Server 2012 running in a VM under Hyper-V. My boot drive for Windows 8 and Server 2012 is a Kingston SSD. It runs this setup very well. I really have no complaints for such a cheap part. I use the stock cooler in a case with very few fans. It stays cool even under load. I can't recall ever hearing the fan. This is not a beastly processor but for the price and what I am doing with it I feel it's a great buy. I went with this over an AMD chip for the single threaded performance. The AMD chips in the price range tend to be seriously lacking IPC.
