Reads/Writes 64GB SDXC no problem.

Transcend TS-RDP5K USB 2.0 Card Reader
Transcend TS-RDP5K USB 2.0 Card Reader

Pros: Works just fine in my 2011 Buick LaCrosse sound system, with a 64GB SDXC card formatted with NTFS.

Cons: None; maybe the cap

Overall Review: Magically Delicious!

LESS than thrilled.

Seagate Desktop HDD ST3000DM001 3TB 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Cheap and fast.

Cons: Cheap and unreliable.

Overall Review: Well, maybe I should have done more homework with my purchase of these, but I was happy to score five 3TB Seagate Barracuda drives from here 10 months ago for the price I did at the time. Fast forward to a week ago. All 5 are in a QNAP TS-559 Pro II (love it) doing relatively light-duty work in and ESXi cluster. With NO warning (thanks, SMART) TWO drives failed at the same time. Yes, it's RAID 5. DOH! Thankfully I'm not completely hosed because of QNAP's extra parity and ability to mount this in read-only mode to save my data off to another location (it's a huge pain tho, because I've got it in multiple iSCSI block-level LUNs; not Seagate's fault there). What IS Seagate's fault is the initial implication that these were near-enterprise-class drives with a 2 year warranty, which Newegg still lists INCORRECTLY on here (please confirm and fix, guys)! These drives are 12 month throw-aways, and Seagate knows it because they've reduced the warranty to ONE YEAR. Either use them in a desktop, or plan for some pain later. I knew one day they'd fail, but thought it'd be closer to the 2+ year mark, and NOT all at once. :(

This thing BLOWS

Xigmatek AOS (Aeronautical Oil System Bearing) XAF-F1255 120MM PWM Fan with Copper Bushing Axis Black Blade White LED
Xigmatek AOS (Aeronautical Oil System Bearing) XAF-F1255 120MM PWM Fan with Copper Bushing Axis Black Blade White LED

Pros: ...in a VERY GOOD way, of course. ;-) Cool LEDs to add style, and some seriously quiet air-moving muscle.

Cons: None that I can think of -- a little pricey, but not too bad.

Overall Review: I'm a fan of this fan.

Works like a champ in late 2012 Samsung Laptop

ADATA Supreme Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Laptop Memory Model AD3S1333C4G9-2
ADATA Supreme Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Laptop Memory Model AD3S1333C4G9-2

Pros: SAMSUNG Series 3 NP305E5A-A07US Notebook. Factory RAM is ADATA. Swapped out single DIMM with these two, and laptop runs like a champ. Price is great too.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: This RAM and a Kingston Hyper-X 120GB SSD made this somewhat slow laptop a real screamer, actually. VERY fast now -- my daughter is THRILLED, and so am I. Thanks Newegg for super-fast shipment.

No-Brainer for heavy workloads! Early-2012 MacBook Pro

Patriot Memory Mac Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Memory for Apple Model PSA316G1333SK
Patriot Memory Mac Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Memory for Apple Model PSA316G1333SK

Pros: Cannot get much easier -- on my early 2012 MBP (non Retina), it is an utterly simple upgrade -- swapped out the 2-4GB factory DIMMs with these, and put the cover back -- booted her up and NO problems -- works like a champ and VMware Fusion is happy with 16GB, and so am I.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: Patriot seems like very good RAM, I use it and Crucial for laptops all the time with rarely any issues. Good price, thanks Newegg for getting it to me so quickly.

Really nice kit

HyperX 3K 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) (Upgrade Bundle Kit) SH103S3B/120G
HyperX 3K 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) (Upgrade Bundle Kit) SH103S3B/120G

Pros: Extremely high quality, EVERYTHING you need to upgrade your laptop (or desktop), including: nice external USB-powered SATA drive case, a nice multi-tip screwdriver, 3.5" bay adapter, cables, screws, and a bootable Acronis CD to do the deed.

Cons: Not as cheap as a bare drive, but the extras are worth the cost if you don't already have what you need to clone your drive.

Overall Review: Newegg is awesome as usual, ultra fast shipping!
