Good Laptop, must update drivers

HP Laptop Intel Core i3-4005U 4GB Memory 500GB HDD Intel HD Graphics 4400 15.6" Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit 350 G1 (G4S61UT#ABA)
HP Laptop Intel Core i3-4005U 4GB Memory 500GB HDD Intel HD Graphics 4400 15.6" Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit 350 G1 (G4S61UT#ABA)

Pros: Good Laptop at Good Price, obviously not a gaming laptop.

Cons: Must install Bluetooth and Wireless drivers (as mentioned by another reviewer) before the wireless nework speeds are usable.

Overall Review: Helped Dad pickout this laptop because the price and specs, was very disappointed in the download speed, thought something was wrong with his wifi. Read some reviews that this can be fixed with installing windows 8, didn't want windows 8, so we took the advice and installed the Broadcom drivers, and the laptop is great now.

This is a good drive

Crucial M500 CT240M500SSD1 2.5" 240GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Crucial M500 CT240M500SSD1 2.5" 240GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Pros: This is a good drive. I was able to use free tools to move my OS to it (I also moved my local profiles off of my mechanical drive before installing the SSD) Programs install fast, run quickly, and windows boots up in just a few seconds. Keep in mind that there is little difference between a fast and slow ssd.

Cons: Yes, it is not the fastest drive out there, but the current price per MB is very good for a high quality, reliable SSD.

Overall Review: (I use junction points liberally.) I hear a lot of people move their games to a mechanical drive, and I understand that, but consider what you use your computer for... if you game more than you autocad, maybe you wait a minute for your computer to start up (Slow?) and use the SSD for your favorite multi-player games and then your the first one loaded on every map? Just my 2 cents. Or maybe you buy two SSDs, one for OS, one for favorite games (and one or two mechanical drives for profiles, other games, and data) and have the best of both worlds.

Great for Gaming

Corsair Vengeance 2100 Circumaural Wireless Dolby 7.1 Gaming Headset
Corsair Vengeance 2100 Circumaural Wireless Dolby 7.1 Gaming Headset

Pros: Bought these for FPS Gaming, they work well. What you really notice with the simulated 7.1 is how far someone is from you and crisp sounds. For example, in Titanfall, I heard someone hack a turret and was able to take them out. Great Price at newegg.

Cons: None I wasn't prepared for when I researching the different options. I do not hear the mic noise that many others have complained about.

Overall Review: Originally was going to get the wired version (1500) but found these on a shell shocker for a very good price (less than the 1500. Am very happy with them.

Works better than expected

nMEDIAPC ZE-C288 Black Aluminum Panel 5.25" Bay All-in-one USB 2.0 Card Reader with USB 3.0/e-SATA Port/HD Audio Ports and two Fan Controllers
nMEDIAPC ZE-C288 Black Aluminum Panel 5.25" Bay All-in-one USB 2.0 Card Reader with USB 3.0/e-SATA Port/HD Audio Ports and two Fan Controllers

Pros: Fan controllers - I'm using it to control a couple 120 mm Antec fans, works perfect. The USB 3 cable plugged easily into my botherboard. The USB 2 cable (for the sdcards) plugged right into an available USB 2 connector on the motherboard. All of the card readers I was able to test worded (SD, micro SD, compact Flash.) I also connected the eSATA connector, but didn't have a way to test that. I read some reviews that the construction was flimsy, maybe that lowered my expectations as its construction seemed sturdy to me. HD Audio plugged right into my mother board and is the only con.

Cons: When I plugged my headset in and had the fan controller turned down, I heard some interference. It went away when I turned my fan speed up. It Probably could use some better filtering, but perhaps I have a bad ground somewhere. Since I use a USB headset and rarely use my standard headset, this isn't a big deal to me.

Overall Review: This unit far exceeded my expectations and looks nice in my black steel case.

Quiet Case, Great Value

Cooler Master HAF 912 - Mid Tower Computer Case with High Airflow, Supporting up to Six 120mm Fans and USB 3.0

Pros: I would give this a 5 star for value, but it isn't a top end case. It does have great features for the price.

Cons: It isn't 100% machined aluminum, but it is a great value.

Great card

Pros: High Performance, runs everything I throw at it.

Cons: Not much of a con, but be sure to download the new version of the MSI overclocking app, and of course get the newest drivers from NVIDIA.
