Headphones
Pros: Sound is good. Mic works well. Long cable. Solidly built.
Cons: The cushion doesn't quite fit around my ears. The control unit on the cable is huge. Basically it will snag on anything and the length of cable between control and clip is too short.
Overall Review: My cons are picky. In general I am very happy with this unit.
One year Later
Pros: Price, looks
Cons: longevity, or, to be more precise, the lack thereof.
Overall Review: lasted a little more than a year. Don't buy this thing if a: you need it to last more than a year, b: you want to store anything of value on it.
Decent build quality hampered by W8
Pros: Nice looking laptop.
Cons: Windows 8. Windows 8. Windows 8. Do not pass go, just install W7. Shiny finish leaves very visible fingerprints. Strange key layout. Overly sensitive touch pad when you dont want it to be, insensate when you want it to be. Intel HD 4000 has trouble playing movies!?!?!?!
Overall Review: Cant really recommend, but I guess I got what I paid for.
Plenty of Power
Pros: Plenty of power. Five year manufacturer warranty. Good build quality (see exceptions below). Enough connectors and cable length, with good braided sheathing over the bundles. Quiet.
Cons: The outlet the power cable plugs into separated from the body of the psu almost immediately. The unit "only" lasted three years.
Overall Review: The unit powered a i920, a GTX275, GTX470, GTX650ti and several HDD's for three years reliably.
Small and Cheap
Pros: Cheap. Top carry handle. Top connections. Top mounted psu.
Cons: No quick access. Power button is defective by design, sticks.
Overall Review: You get what you pay for. The power button is simply defective by design, it gets stuck. There is no quick access to the case, you will need a phillips head screw driver.
Huge and Effective
Pros: Works well, kept my i920 cool in Florida for three years. Very quiet when not set to max.
Cons: Very large, not easy to install, not easy to clean. Not a big fan of blue lights (or any lights at all).
Overall Review: This unit is very large and will cover parts of your mobo you may want access to. Lasted three years before the fans started dying.
