5 out of 5 eggsExactly what I needed

Pros: Not easy to find right PSU with 24 pin connector and 4 pin CPU power connector. Replaced subpar 2 year old Dell Inspiron desktop psu. More than capable of running home computer

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Base duo core Dell Inspiron win 7 machine now runs properly with the right PSU. I had added a low end GPU to improve performance and never checked PSU (my bad). Upon ripping the old factory PSU out of the case I noticed it was a no name 300W ATX. Not designed to run this rig which has a 1gb radeon GPU, SSD, and 2.5 TB drive as upgrades. Boot time, picture clarity and overall performance is much improved with this decent reliable PSU. This little box will do the job!

1 out of 5 eggsUtter Disapointment

Pros: Fast shipping. No other problems

Cons: This is my experience with newegg. My PSU was DOA, I tried returning it for a replacement, The package was shipped to the right address, then magically it disappeared, I am now being told to file a claim against UPS, to resolve the issue. Even though Newegg Twice said they had the package.

5 out of 5 eggsBang for the buck!!

Pros: Very price reasonable and a smaller power supply as I have a cube case and after 3 years mine finally was going bad... so I got this one and it fits with room to spare!!! In a smaller case with less power demand this is the one!!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: For the money and the fit I would highly suggest this one.. this company has a good reputation!!!

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: None - it was DOA

Cons: Filled out RMA, which was approved but it was almost half the price to ship back to Newegg and that was using their discount. I will pass on the RMA

5 out of 5 eggsCan't ask for better

Pros: I've had this PSU for 2 years now. Never, not even 1 problem with it.
It's run quiet, smooth and trouble free since day 1 up until now as I write this review.

Cons: None that I can think of. When I run a graphic intensive game like BF4 it cranks up to where you can hear it cranking. Thats normal, I expect that. But it also cools and quiets down just as quick when exiting the games.

Other Thoughts: I recommend this PSU. If you get bad one (which you can because after all, man makes these things and at last check, man is still fallable) just return it and get another one a replacement. It's that simple. This is a good Power Supply!!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: 500W. Cheap. Quiet.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: 4 Sata power. 1 x 6 pin GPU power. Runs quiet and for the money you can't beat this. I will not even ask for the rebate. Thank you, Apevia.

2 out of 5 eggsReally not for gaming

Pros: 500w, good for non highly graphical gaming, price...

Cons: Using r7 265 card
I can play League of Legends all day long but if i turn on skyrim, borderlands or anything else basically with better graphics the unit starts smelling like burning rubber or plastic depending on how graphical the game is it could take 5 minutes to 30 minutes for it to start smelling and thats a good indicator to turn off the game.

2 out of 5 eggswow

Pros: Perfect for what I wanted to bad

Cons: Hooked it up for the first time and it over heated on me like almost instantly haha don't know what to do now I'm not sure if I want to go through the hassle of customer service with this thing yet. Oh and doesn't come with a manual

1 out of 5 eggsNot recommended

Pros: Dual fans, Quiet

Cons: Quality

Other Thoughts: I bought this to upgrade my son's HP computer power supply to allow for a higher quality video card. After installing the system would run for 24-48 hours then Windows would crash indicating HD error from which it could not recover. Suspecting the HD I tried installing a spare but endured the same results. After many attempts of switch HDs, switching SATA cables, disk formatting and reinstalling Windows 8, I finally decided to try putting back the original power supply. Its been running fine for over a week now.

After weeks of trial and error, I have come to realize the problem is the Power Supply . . . but now I am past the 30 day RMA for newegg :(

Now I have to deal with the manufacturer . . .
