Turtle Beach Ear Force Stealth 400 Premium Fully Wireless Gaming Headset for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Mobile Devices (TBS-3240-01)
Turtle Beach Ear Force Stealth 400 Premium Fully Wireless Gaming Headset for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Mobile Devices (TBS-3240-01)

Pros: -Sound Quality is good when it works. -Easy to set up and use.

Cons: -Extremely bad construction quality. Very flimsy plastic that didn't even last 4 months. -Bright blinking blue light on the side gets annoying quickly. -Overpriced like all Turtlebeach products.

Overall Review: First, let me say that this is the fourth Turtlebeach headset that I've owned and this is the fourth Turtlebeach headset that has failed due to poor build quality. The last three I owned were PX3s. Two of them failed on the side when the plastic broke, and the other one had a bad wireless transmitter after just 4 months. This one though, has taken the cake. The plastic on the right side that goes up into the headset, broke in half after just 3 months. Let me say, that I am very careful with my stuff and this is not due to abuse on my part. On the left side, the plastic is doing the same thing with lots of smaller cracks in the plastic. Also, despite their claims that this headset can co-exist with wifi, I was constantly getting interference. The audio would snap and crackle, and even cut out . Lastly, Turtlebeach will not honor the warranty if you buy these from Newegg or other online sources. The only good thing I have to say about this headset is the audio is very good when it works. I've always liked the Turtlebeach sound, but the build quality is just not there. Please DO NOT buy this headset or any other Turtlebeach headset. I have not yet contacted Newegg to see if they will let me get a refund after 3 months. Hopefully they will.

So far, so good.

Pros: -Huge amount of space for a small price. -Seems fast to me.

Cons: None so far.

Amazing!

ASUS 27" 1440P Gaming Monitor (MG279Q) - QHD (2560 x 1440), 178° Viewing, FreeSync
ASUS 27" 1440P Gaming Monitor (MG279Q) - QHD (2560 x 1440), 178° Viewing, FreeSync

Pros: -144hz- This is a game changer. 144hz is awesome, and the reason I upgraded. BF4/CSGO look great with the high frames. I honestly feel that it has improved my game. -Build Quality- Heavy and high quality build . The base is nice and wide. Its stable and doesn't allow random movement of the screen when typing or moving your desk. -IPS- Colors look great. The change from a TN panel wasn't as drastic as I was expecting, but I honestly can't complain. Blacks are definitely more ink like. -1440p- Really great resolution. I was worried about text being too small, but everything looks great. I run a 290x and it handles 1440p with no problem. Gotta turn down some AA once in a while though. -Freesync- I wasn't looking for a freesync monitor, but I'm glad I have the option if I decide to use it. It definitely works, but it only has a range from 35hz to 90hz. Not sure why they would limit it like that. I honestly try to keep the frames as close to 144 as I can though. This will come in handy when the old 290x starts chuggin' and my frames stay in that range I suppose. -27" screen- 1440p + 27 inch screen = Win -UI- I love ASUS's UI and the placement of the monitor buttons. The small red joystick makes it easy to move around and select what you want. Don't see how it could get better than this.

Cons: -Price. This thing is just too dang expensive. I waited for it to drop in price, but still. You do get what you pay for though. -Freesync range- I seriously don't understand why they would limit the top range of freesync. Gsync goes all the way to 144hz. Why can't Freesync? All Freesync monitors have this range problem though, so its not just against this monitor.

Overall Review: I know a lot of people have had some QA issues with this panel. I'll be honest, I was hesitant because of this. Fortunately, mine came perfect. No dead pixels. Very slight IPS glow in the lower right corner that I can never see unless there are no lights on in the house. This screen is amazing and I'm very happy with it. Glad I took the chance and got this thing.

Amazing!

XIGMATEK XOF-F1255 120mm FCB (Fluid Circulative Bearing) Cooling System 120mm Xiggy Orange Case Fan 2-Pack

Pros: +Quiet. +Nice Style with plenty of color options to fit your build. +Nice braided cord. Cools well.

Cons: -Some might consider it a con that there are only mounting screw slots on one side. I, however, do not because it fit what I was trying to do.

Overall Review: I used this fan for a case mod where I needed a fan for the back of my motherboard (The back of my motherboard gets hot for some reason... odd I know) but didn't have a lot of room. I cut a hole in the case and mounted the fan sticking out of the case with the inside of the mounting screw holes touching the back of the side panel. Worked perfectly for what I was trying to do. Back of the motherboard now stays super cool.
