EPIC LAPTOP

TOSHIBA Laptop Qosmio Intel Core i7-740QM 4GB Memory 500GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GTS 360M 18.4" Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit X505-Q888
TOSHIBA Laptop Qosmio Intel Core i7-740QM 4GB Memory 500GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GTS 360M 18.4" Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit X505-Q888

Pros: I've owned this laptop since december of 2010 and it has been a breeze to operate and a pleasure to play! The graphics are what you would expect from a desktop and so is the processor. The bluray is a nice feature as well for the laptop. The ram is nice and can be upgraded to 1333mhz and the laptop also comes with dual hard drive bays!!! Aside from all of the technical features the laptop games like a pro and plays everything up to the latest battlefield 3. This is the third benchmarked game on the list and the laptop plays it at low to medium settings.

Cons: Nothing really other than the bulkyness and the overall weight. Can't take an egg off for that as the screen wouldn't be as big if it was smaller!

Overall Review: Although the graphics built into it are very nice and good for gaming im considering a gtx 460m used to upgrade to, just for better gaming performance.

Most Critical Review

Wow...

BIOSTAR TZ68A+ LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
BIOSTAR TZ68A+ LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: This motherboard was cheap and is effective for the most part.

Cons: Didn't come ready for 22nm CPU as it stated on the box, had to order an older generation sandy bridge to flash the bios and use it. Not only that but I dont see any support for the IVB integrated 4000 graphics (not a big thing) or overclocking past 39 on IVB. If you want any of these features go z77.

Overall Review: Thanks for the board, and hopefully you'll have a more effective bios update next time. And try not slapping stickers on things after they've been on the shelve 12 months newegg, they may be outdated...

Pretty terrible

Corsair Certified CW-9060007-WW Hydro Series H60 Water Cooler
Corsair Certified CW-9060007-WW Hydro Series H60 Water Cooler

Pros: It's a dirt cheap AIO liquid cooler. It's able to keep my cousins 8 core at decent temperatures while he plays games.

Cons: Mine on the other hand is awful. I just had coretemp running while I was playing minecraft and it's reporting 198F on a 3770k clocked at 4.5GHz...it wasn't even maxing out. This is sad even in comparison to the old hyper 212 that I may be switching back to. I have a Zalman attached to my GPU with an NZXT Kraken G10 and I sincerely think it does a ton better being that it never goes above 64C, and it's a GRAPHICS CARD being cooled. A 290 reference watercooled by a Zalman is better than this H60.

Overall Review: Maybe I just got a faulty model, maybe I'll just take corsair up on this one year warranty of theirs. I just really have a hard time grasping that this unit hits near it's max temperature with an H60 sitting on top of it. That'll be the last time I place my trust in corsair.

EXCELLENT!!!

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus - CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus - CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes

Pros: This fan is the best fan I've ever seen with a computer and its the next best thing to water cooling! It keeps my Core 2 Quad Q6600 around 80 degrees Fahrenheit idle and 100-110 under load! What more could you ask for?

Cons: The only con is the size and no eggs taken because I had measured before I ordered. It IS 5 inches tall and I did have to move a fan to the outside of my case but it was worth it all the way.

Overall Review: If they could get this kind of cooling in micro sizing then It would be even better and I'd probably implement it in micro atx cases as well. But I'm a very happy camper overall!

Awful

LOGISYS Computer PS480D 480 W ATX12V Power Supply
LOGISYS Computer PS480D 480 W ATX12V Power Supply

Pros: It was cheap and bought it locally.

Cons: This is the worst power supply I've ever used. It doesn't even come close to the recommended 480w but instead should be rated around a 250-300. I don't expect any more than 75 percent from a psu like this but on a good day it probably hits around 50. Don't buy it if you're using anything more than integrated graphics along with a single or low wattage dual core processor in a really low end board. The extra USB's, a hard drive, and anything PCI may be pushing it.

Overall Review: If the company who made this would put as much effort in as APEVIA did with their latest 700w at a flat $40.00 they probably would get some better reviews from their customers. If you're even considering this PSU just save the money and get a better one to start with.

Piece of junk

Galaxy 60XGH6HS3HML GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) GC Version 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
Galaxy 60XGH6HS3HML GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) GC Version 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Pros: It was cheap and its better than stock at least for 5 seconds.

Cons: Every time I start any game the piece of junk starts reducing the core clock and preventing the usage from going over %10. I cant even play a game like minecraft on minimum setting without it acting like a mental subject and quitting out on me. If I could rate -5 then it would be slightly accurate as to how bad this item is.

Overall Review: Make better products galaxy. I would have been better off to have spent another 20 bucks for one that actually would work.
