Linux Mint - Easy install.
Pros: Just installed this printer to Linux Mint and Windows 7. Windows installed as normal, no problems. But I would like to thank Brother for improving their Linux experiance. I love Brother printers, but have had to spend hours installing their printers to Linux (sometimes not getting them installed at all). This time it was awsome. I've sold and used many of Brother's printer products over the years. I and my clients have been overall more pleased with Brother printers than any other brand we have tried. Home users, small business and schools. Consumables and purchase price are amoung the best. I have only had a few problem units, but that is to be expected once and a while.
Cons: I have had some issues with several printers. An earlier printer of this version had a lan device failure. USB is the only connection that works. I hope this one doesn't go that way.
Overall Review: If you are using Linux, consider this printer.
Figo $39 phone
Pros: Works
Cons: I bought this because I have to send in my other phone for repairs. I can barley use this phone as a phone. It is slow. I read a review somewhere that it was slow, but I thought they were talking about things other than the phone. But no they were not. It is so slow I can barley use it as a phone. It takes what seems like 3 to 5 seconds for it to respond to button pushes. I can not seem to answer the phone before it goes to email.
Overall Review: I am not upset at the company for this purchase, but I do wish I would have bought another brand. It was only $39 and I gambled and it will serve it's purpose of getting me by till my other phone gets fixed. However, I would not buy this phone again, nor do I recommend it.
Very happy.
Pros: It works great. Screen is huge so I can see and use it. The phone is so big it makes me set it down when working and that is what keeps it from getting damaged. I use this phone simply. I am not into most of the video streaming and internet apps. But I like it for what I use it for. It does have a nice camera. It is nice to have internet when needed.
Cons: Answer slide doesn't seem work always.
Real Happy
Pros: I am very happy with this ASUS product and I am hard to please. This phone has a nice camera, big screen, it is fast, and a lot of memory for someone who doesn't use the phone for a computer. I was thinking of buying the $299 version, but then decided that the $199 version was okay for me. I am very happy with my purchase. I am glad I bought the lower priced version and spent the some of the money on covers, screen protectors and a 2 year warranty.
Cons: None yet.
Overall Review: I will have to use this phone a while to see if it has problems, but I have not found any bugs or problems yet. It is a little big to carry around in my front pocket so I tend to set it down a lot. This will probably help keep it from getting broke. Oh, I was able to take my AT&T sim card and plug it into my phone and it worked right off. I was concerned about that.
Great For Plug and Play Linux
Pros: Plugs in and works with Linux Mint 17.1. Worked with older versions of Linux too. I have used these to reach where other wireless won't. It works great.
Cons: none
Overall Review: It is not fancy. It is what it is, a lower end USB wireless NIC. But it works well for wireless.
Not for Linux
Pros: It was a free gift.
Cons: But it is not seen by Linux. It says that it supports Linux on the box, but there is no Linux information anywhere including their web site. I am not going to work any harder on it because I have the RNX-N250UBE and it works great.
Overall Review: Rosewill does make great networking products. If you are into Linux and want a good Rosewill wireless usb NIC the RNX-N250UBE works great for me. It works right out of the box every time I plug it in.
