This review is from: Rosewill RX-DU300 2.5" & 3.5" USB 3.0 Hard Drive Docking
Pros: Works great as expected. I purchased this to replace another brand that did not work well. This works great.
Cons: None yet.
Other Thoughts: When moving files or cloneing drives it is still much faster to plug into the Sata connectors on the Motherboard. But this works good for small tasks and you do not have to shut you system down to attatch a drive.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Just installed this printer to Linux Mint and Windows 7. Windows installed as normal, no problems. But I would like to thank Brother for improving their Linux experiance. I love Brother printers, but have had to spend hours installing their printers to Linux (sometimes not getting them installed at all). This time it was awsome. I've sold and used many of Brother's printer products over the years. I and my clients have been overall more pleased with Brother printers than any other brand we have tried. Home users, small business and schools. Consumables and purchase price are amoung the best. I have only had a few problem units, but that is to be expected once and a while.
Cons: I have had some issues with several printers. An earlier printer of this version had a lan device failure. USB is the only connection that works. I hope this one doesn't go that way.
Other Thoughts: If you are using Linux, consider this printer.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit
Pros: It runs MS Office sometimes. Much happier with it than Vista or 8.
Cons: Doesn't seem productive too me. When I want to use it, it is always updating and updating and updating. Takes forever to connect to the Internet and hand over control to the user, up to several minutes, then it wants to update and reboot. Some times it is 20 minutes before I can use the computer. Every now and and then it dumps the activation key and tells me it is not genuine and I have to reenter the key. Bought the packages here at Newegg, so I know they are genuine. Yes this happens on several of my computers. Also, they have been removing so many tools and utilities from the MS OS systems it has become harder to repair them.
Other Thoughts: I guess the reason I have become so impatient with MS's OS is because I started dual booting with Linux Mint. When I need to get on the computer quickly, I have to boot to Linux. After using Linux for some time now, I find my Win 7 OS very sluggish and slow. And when Windows starts with all the updates in the middle of me trying use my computer, I have to wait forever. However, I can not do everything I want with Linux so at times I find myself using Win 7, which is currently my favorite MS OS.READ FULL REVIEW
