Rosewill RNX-N250UBE - Wireless N300 Wi-Fi Adapter - IEEE 802.11b / 11g / 11n, (2T2R), Up to 300 Mbps Data Rates, USB 2.0 Interface, Two 5 dBi High Power Detachable Antenna
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: more than 1 year

Pros: Plugs in and works with Linux Mint 17.1. Worked with older versions of Linux too.
I have used these to reach where other wireless won't. It works great.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: It is not fancy. It is what it is, a lower end USB wireless NIC. But it works well for wireless.

Rosewill RNX-AC600UB - Dual Band Wireless AC600 Adapter - IEEE 802.11AC a / b / g / n, Up to 433 Mbps (5.0 GHz) + 150 Mbps (2.4 GHz) Wi-Fi Data Rates, USB 2.0 Interface, WPS for Easy Connect

Pros: It was a free gift.

Cons: But it is not seen by Linux. It says that it supports Linux on the box, but there is no Linux information anywhere including their web site. I am not going to work any harder on it because I have the RNX-N250UBE and it works great.

Other Thoughts: Rosewill does make great networking products. If you are into Linux and want a good Rosewill wireless usb NIC the RNX-N250UBE works great for me. It works right out of the box every time I plug it in.

ASUS GT630-SL-1GD3-L GeForce GT 630 1GB 64-Bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 HDCP Ready Video Card
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Nice card for entry level. No fan, has 3 video outputs.

Cons: I see that some one else was able to use 2 monitors at once. I had to remove the card and use on board graphics to run 2 monitors at once. My card only sends signal to on monitor at a time.

Other Thoughts: After reading other reviews I am wondering if my card is bad or if the card only supports 1 monitor at a time.
