This review is from: SONY MDR-ZX300/BLK Supra-aural Stereo Headphone - Black
Pros: These sound great and are relatively comfortable. I'm not an audiophile but I'm picky and these pass the test. I listen to a lot of house/electronica at work but more celtic/folk/classical at home, so I hear a variety of sounds and these don't sound muddy or weak no matter what I play through them.
Cons: Cable is very short - I know the page says it's 47" long but mine sure isn't. It's about 30" long, which is not long enough for anything but use with a portable media player. Maybe I was shipped a different set from what is being advertised here?
Other Thoughts: I bought these for a computer that sits on the floor about 18 inches from my right foot. The cable (plugged in the front panel) is not long enough to reach my ears while sitting. I ended up taking them to work where the computer sits at waist level and very close to me. It's just barely long enough here, so I won't be wasting these. I'm still not happy.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: -LONG cable
-I wear glasses and these don't make me uncomfortable, although my friend who also wears glasses will tell you otherwise.
-Audio quality is good, although I've heard better. It's more than adequate for gaming and maybe listening to a little music while you do so. I wasn't expecting a duplicate of my Sennheisers at this price point anyway.
-Mic quality is great. I asked around and my voice came through clear and nobody could hear what I was listening to.
Cons: - LONG cable. So long it had a tendency to twist around my computer chair until I twist tied some of the cable out of the way.
- After about two hours I start sweating inside these. It might be different for other users, but then again I have that experience with most big headsets.
Other Thoughts: I went with 4 stars because of the discomfort for long sessions. This seems to be a common issue looking at the other reviews.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: TRENDnet TEG-S5g Switches 4 to 10 Ports Gigabit GREENnet Switch
Pros: Gigabit with low power consumption and relatively inexpensive. Compact. I've been using it to do drive image based backups, moving hundreds of gigs of data, and I'm getting impressive speeds. Hard to complain
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: I've only had it a month, so we'll have to see how it works in the long run.READ FULL REVIEW
