Exactly what I was hoping it would be!
Pros: - Solid workmanship, quality you can feel. - Tactile feedback, physical levers make the experience so much better. - Easy programmability (in MSFS2020) - Trim Wheel is AMAZING. - Secure mounting options.
Cons: - Large, be sure you have desk space available! - Ease of mounting assembly could probably be better (but I still rate this aspect 4 out of 5) - Regularly out of stock (not a product complaint) - So many options I run out of things to assign to buttons! - Could use a little more documentation on components/function.
Overall Review: I love it the product - so glad Newegg introduced the BackOrder option ... vs racing through the poor experience of: email notification to web page, then to native app (and not to same page), then long checkout process. It appears MSFS2020 has fixed the throttle 2 issue & I had no other concerns. The trim wheel solves my the biggest issue - and how it's done is ingenius
NOT an HP battery - works, but not OEM
Pros: Fits
Cons: It says it's an HP battery but it is NOT.
Outstanding build quality, design, etc
Pros: - Plenty of room for large video cards- 200mm fans!- nice space under motherboard- well placed 2.5" drives on back side- 9 stand-offs already on board (most come with 6)- well placed rubber punchouts to get cables to motherboard from underneath.- SATA power cable for front panel (instead of old molex)- daisy chain LED control lead option- rubber feet- High quality glass
Cons: - knurl knobs for PCI cards were too tight, mostly unusable; better to replace with standard screws.
Overall Review: I've been building PCs since Intel 166Mhz days - I remember when Lian Li was the gold standard to which all other case manufacturers aspired to be. Then others caught up - I had forgotten about them honestly - but my son bought this for his first build and I have to admit, I'm jealous. I am impressed and highly recommend this case to anyone needing a standard ATX format.
Amazing product, questionable USB port & support
Pros: Very solid feel. Smooth actions - loving the physical switches for avionics, etc.
Cons: USB-C port is extremely touchy. Little bump and it loses connection. Vendor support is unresponsive.
Overall Review: I'd still buy it at regular MSRP - just concerned about longevity of the product.
Fast & cool
Pros: - Fast, obviously (upgraded from a 2700X) -- Things are actually snappier than I thought they could be (i.e., didn't think there was room for improvement) - Runs cool (65W) - Can overclock some, but fast enough to not really need it
Cons: - Had to BIOS update a brand new X570 before it would work - Not as many cores as more expensive (duh? - felt silly with only 1 con listed)
Overall Review: It felt strange losing cores, going from the 2700X 8 core (w/HT) to the 5600X - but as my primary use is general work (Office, browser based etc, and GAMES) -- this was the smart buy chip. Tried overclocking a bit with a standard watercooling system, not much luck. Your mileage may vary.
Intermittent issues & died before 3 years old.
Pros: Reasonable sound
Cons: Difficult to get to sound just 'right' compared to other receivers I've used.
Quick delivery, great product
Ordered a refurbished dyson and it's great. Exactly as ordered.
