Pros: Great price! I didn’t wanna spend too much money going into next-gen so I bought this and an i5 750. OC Genie pushes up to a respectable 3.4Ghz and who can be mad about that?
Cons: None
Overall Review: As another reviewer said, make sure to populate black RAM slots first, or you won’t get a POST
Pros: Feature-rich board that is great for the price. OC Genie is a dream come true for newbie OC’ers like me. I talked to a marketing rep at Fry’s last weekend at the industry store and they showed the 30% increase with 1 button push. I had to have one!
Cons: I really wish they added the POST code reader from the GD80, but I can see why with the much cheaper price. Maybe in the future we’ll see that on midrange boards too for us DIY’ers.
Overall Review: I’m not too familiar with DrMOS but I see on review sites like Toms Hardware that it is really efficient and runs cool. I don’t have any hardware to test it, but so far it looks great! SuperPipe also is a lot simpler than MSI’s old rollercoaster heatsinks which just looked weird to me. I put my hand on the pipes and it didn’t burn, so it’s doing something right.
Ultra portable
Pros: Ultra portable little laptop. I works well for note-taking at school and internet browsing. The full size keyboard is great, you don't feel cramped when typing.
