Great Performer

Pros: Excellent performance for the cost. I was surprised that I could run all of my newest titles on it without problems. The aesthetics of the case are wonderful. The piano-black finish is really beautiful. I love the full size keys and the full numpad is a bonus as well. The screen is bright and very sharp. I lamented the fact that it has a max rez of 1280x800, but once I saw the screen in person, I am no longer worried about it. I also like the biometric login options. Fingerprint software is nice. The Asus Smartlogon can even recognize your face and log in when you look at the camera. I also like the free laptop bag and optical laptop mouse.
Cons: I do not like the way the hard drive is partitioned. Out of the 250GB hdd, 60% is for C: (OS), and 40% for D: (Data). While I appreciate having 2 partitions, Vista hardly needs 120+ GB for an install. You also lose around 8GB for the ASUS recovery partition. The recovery options are rather limited and will not allow you to set custom partition sizes.
Overall Review: Love it.
Do NOT buy. You will regret it.

Pros: When I originally bought this back in 2013, it was the most affordable large SSD on the market. Fast (at first).
Cons: Data reads get exponentially slower as data ages. After 14 months running mine, I was getting 3-5 MB/s (worse than USB1.0!) reads on old data. I thought my drives were dying and then I discovered that there is a bug with the firmware algorithm that would slow reads on old data.
Overall Review: Glad I waited over a year to review this as I would have been glowing about them when I first installed them. There is definitely something wrong with these drives that I am not sure can be fixed with firmware. I think it is best if you avoid SSDs that use Triple Layered Cells (TLC). Unless you want your system to slowly degrade in performance, and then forcibly rewrite all your data once every 3-6 months (thereby reducing the life of your SSD). Go MLC on your SSDs! Don't make the same mistake as the rest of us. Samsung has one last chance to make this right via software, but then I fear they will need to recall these drives or a class action lawsuit will probably be following.
Nice

Pros: Overclocks nicely on my 680i nvidia board. I took it to 3.4Ghz with no problem ([email protected]). I haven't tried to push it any further as I am satisfied with the performance as it is. Price/performance ratio is out of the roof.
Cons: Can't really complain about anything.
Overall Review: Gets a 5.7 CPU rating in Vista when overclocked. (5.1 at stock)
Nice case

Pros: Compartmentalized layout. Great Airflow. Quality build.* Case is large enough for the 8800GTX card. (you may have to remove the upper HDD cage).
Cons: Because of the PSU being on the bottom of the case, some PSU cables may have trouble reaching their destinations. *My front bezel (the brushed aluminum plate) that is on the door isn't properly seated in the molding and it sticks out. This was just bad luck in my case. I have learned to live with it.
Overall Review: Other than the aesthetic issue. I love this case. In my last case, I had no way of putting fans on my HDDs and they overheated and I lost 2 of them. (Summer was HOT here). I now have my new drives in the bottom cage with a 120mm fan pulling air over them and it is making a huge difference.
Excellent Display

Pros: Price. True 1080p/60hz display. Can display 1080p through component, DVI, HDMI and VGA. Excellent for PC use. Response time is excellent. It doesn't display the same ghosting that I experienced on my previous 24" LCD. Inputs galore. I have everything hooked to this beast, including my microwave! (ok.. maybe not everything) Display is very bright and with the proper tweaking of color/contrast/backlight, the picture can REALLY pop!
Cons: VGA input does a weird "auto-adjust" everytime you switch to it which can adjust the display poorly if the image onscreen is too bright(Xbox 360's white splash screen). The workaround is to either switch to another input channel and then back, or to turn the TV off until the 360 gets to the dashboard. The speakers are weak, but who really cares about the built in ones? Black levels are not that great, but this is the case with pretty much all LCDs today. This can be tweaked pretty easily so it isn't that big of an issue.
Overall Review: I love this monitor. I am not using it as a TV, it is primarily a display for my gaming PC and my xbox 360.
Nice card

Pros: If you want to game on a large high resolution monitor, this is a great single card solution. Performance in games now at 1920x1200 is faster than my 6800GT at really low resolutions. It was a substantial upgrade.
Cons: Loud once the card hits 90 cel. I will probably end up getting a 3rd party cooler for it. I think ATI's drivers are a bit bloated. Why do I need .NET framework to install and use my drivers? Once you install the catalysts, you will have around 5-6 new processes that must run if you want full functionality out of the CCC.
Overall Review: Pleased with the purchase.
