Outdoor toys provide fun for all age groups, young and old. These toys are great for parties, simply having fun at home, or for equipping an outdoor play area for children in kindergarten or aftercare. There are a few things to keep in mind when purchasing toys for you or your children. By law, all toys have age restrictions to reduce safety risks. This will give you a good idea of whether a specific toy is suitable for your child. Some toys such as jumping castles or scooters may have weight restrictions as well, which will give you an indication of whether you can play on it, too.

Outdoor Toys Improve Coordination

In addition to providing hours of fun, outdoor play toys teach coordination and facilitate exercise. Ride-on push cars, tricycles, bicycles and scooters are age-appropriate toys that many children enjoy and keep them active. During winter, use a sled or snow tube for afternoons of family fun. Outdoor Playsets and Toys are Great for Parties and General Play

Bouncy houses, bumper balls, blow-up pools and children's outdoor playhouses provide entertainment at parties. Some of these options also make suitable icebreakers for adults. For smaller children, ball pits, tunnels, and sandpits are suitable options. Teach soft skills such as sharing with toys such as pool floats, swings, and kites which may require taking turns in group settings but can be just as fun. Swingsets and jungle gyms are bigger features that require more space and will generally be more permanent outdoor toys. When considering inflatable toys and those that require a sturdy setup, bear in mind that certain tools will be needed, such as air pumps or screwdrivers.

Kites, watersport slides, bowling sets and drone toys are fun for kids and adults alike. Go exploring with a sextant or use waterproof tech for when you want to work or play outdoors. Lounge on a pool float or score goals with your kids and friends. Shock pens and prank toys are just as enjoyable as when you were a kid. Toys such as the action ponies are sturdy enough for some adults, depending on the weight restriction. Bicycles, basketball sets and scooters keep kids and adults active. Push or pull your small kids in their push tricycles, cars or wagons as you explore and keep active outdoors.
