It says Free M2. 240GB SSD but I didn't see that in the order when I placed my preorder, how does that work?

update to my previous reply. i just spoke to an agent. apparently they still haven't decided which SSD to bundle with this board, but once the order is processed the SSD will be added to the order automatically. here is the exact reply i got: "Upon checking, I show this item can only be pre-ordered so far. Once the order is transferred into a normal Newegg order, the free SSD on the item page will be added to the normal order automatically."

even the cheapest M.2 240GB SSD is worth $60. this is definitely one heck of a bargain.

Is the bundled m2 240GB drive going to be sata or pcie? aka what is the transfer rate we can expect?

Where is the top clip for the CPU Cooler?

the missing top clip in this picture is an oversight that was made in the original press release for this product. if you visit Biostar's webpage for this board, you'll see that both clips are installed on the board. i would add a link to the page here, but newegg prohibits posting links here.

Question 4

how many m.2 slots does this have?  I want 4 for raid 0

The Msi platinum has 2, and that is using a mix.  Most x370 boards at launch have 1 NVME M.2 socket. Given the number of PCIe lanes available from Ryzen, I don't believe there will ever be more than 2.

does this mobo support Xfire/SLI?

correction, it only supports x8 + x8 sli and xfire configurations. ryzen does not have enough PCI E lanes to do x16 + x16

It shows it is lit up as yellow and then gray in another picture. What will the color be on this board?

Whatever color you want it to be. :) 16.7 million at last count. It is controlled in software. There is a demo on the Biostar page however its kinda hard to find. I believe its on the .TW site. not the USA site.

From everything I read, I was under the impression that the Ryzen platform didn't have its own onboard video?

they do not. future AM4 APUs that AMD is going to release later this year will have them. so the video outputs on this board will ONLY work if you put in an APU on this board.

unlike Intel, AMD has no plans to manufacture 2 or 3 different CPU sockets concurrently. it's one socket (AM4) to rule them all. and depending on what you put in that socket will either enable/disable or speed up/slow down certain functions of this board. another example of this is that the M.2 slot operates with 32Gb/s when using a Ryzen CPU, but only half as fast when using an APU.
