Through the ringer and still kicking at 5 years of heavy use.

Pros: Very durable. Has most of the connections you would expect. Was a good price when I purchased in 2013.
Through the ringer and still kicking at 5 years of heavy use.

Cons: None that I can see.

Other Thoughts: I ran 2 RX480 cards in this rig mining for over 11 months in an NZXT case and it never missed a beat. It's still in use almost 5 years later. I have parted with the second video card but it's still mining away on my one RX480 like nobody's business. I just wanted to post this as a testament to the quality and durability of the unit. I know they are not available anymore.

Great price, the right amount of power

Pros: Price. Can't beat what your getting for the price

Cons: Non modular.

Other Thoughts: I just built a new system and was a little skeptical choosing Rosewill as it is a new company to me, but because i was going on a semi budget build this looked like a great choice. Turns out it was. works great. It powers an AMD Phenom II x4 955, a triple SLI board running a single 4870 with no problems. SLI with one other card at this level should be no problem for this power supply. My case also has many fans with no shortage of power..

**** UPDATE ****
I know this product is outdated now, but I felt I needed to come back and add to my initial review. PSU finally died. I have been running the PSU in a 24/7 config since the day it was installed and it worked flawlessly. As my first Rosewill product, i was sceptical but my review stands. If I could give it more stars I would. This PSU was rock solid and lasted 7 years of continuous use. Good job Rosewill PSU.

Budget PSU that's paying off!

Pros: -Going strong for almost 4 years!

Cons: not modular.

Other Thoughts: I figured I had to write a review for this product. I have been using it for almost 4 years with my AMD FX build. I read a lot of reviews saying products are DOA or have a very short life span, but i'm still kicking over here!

Great PSU On A Budget

Pros: -Long lasting
-Decent amount of connectors
-80 Bronze certified
-Inexpensive

Cons: -Not modular, though, you tend to have to pay more for a feature like that
-Mesh cabling isn't on all the cables
-Possible watt capacity degradation

Other Thoughts: I had used this in my gaming PC since 2012 and recently upgraded to a Corsair RM850i because the Rosewill PSU couldn't handle the AMD 390X that I had just put in. The built in power meter in the RM850i shows that I rarely go over 450W even when playing high-end games on max, which leaves me to believe that the Rosewill had degraded in performance.

Over all this PSU has served me well and is currently in my roommates PC. I had also bought this for my uncles custom build back in 2011 and it's still running fine. I also had the 430W variant of this PSU and It's been running great since 2011.

Great budget PSUs. I have had several Rosewill PSUs going all the way back to 2007 and they all have served me well.

Five years going strong

Pros: None of my Rosewill products have been paperweights, and even after heavy use (including some overnight FSX flights) this stands up.

Cons: Only one. Not enough SATA power connectors. Very few power supplies on the market have more SATA power connectors than Molex connectors.

Other Thoughts: Haven't smelled rotten eggs/whatever bulging/leaking capacitors smell to you yet, so that's a good sign.

UPDATE: Five years later, and not an issue yet. There's a better version of this now, but I wonder if it is as robust.

Works great and easy to install

Pros: Have had it for almost 5 years now and haven't had a problem with it. It does what it is supposed to. I am using an i5-2500k and am about to upgrade to a compatible i7 soon.

Cons: I don't think I have any bad things about it

6+ years strong

Pros: Does exactly what it's supposed to do.
I've run this PSU for over 6 years (Bought in 2010) and it's performed admirably.

Cons: Nothing

Dies after warranty

Pros: Worked perfectly for a little over 2 and a half years

Cons: At around the 2 and a half year mark it would randomly shut off during any task. Would refuse to turn on sometimes
2 year warranty, so essentially built to last past warranty

Other Thoughts: I only had this powering a a rig with a stock clocked FX-8320, GTX 650 Ti Boost, and one hard drive so the power supply was never stressed in any way. You get what you pay for I guess.
