Question 1

I want to use Thermaltake cooler CL-W158-PL12SW-A. The cooler specifications say the bracket comes with the CPU. Does this CPU include the bracket?

yes it does come with a aio bracket. under the cpu in the box inside of another box. I can say i would 100% just use the thermal take TR2 air cooler with a single fan for this cpu, as i used it on my 2970wx (24core) cpu and it runs happily on all cores at 4.2ghz with the air cooler. It does start to warm up after some time but that is because i only have 2 very slow case fans and the whole system is very quiet. No real need for aio's they are just a cheap failure point imo. I am looking to build a workstation for work an play. Work is going to be building mulitple Virtual machines an running an testing software solutions. Will this processor be ideal for me or should I be looking an a ryzen?

Dont have any experience with owning ryzen or running virtual machines.  But i am very happy with what I got.  I use davinci resolve 15 and get by just fine.  Im pretty sure the threadrippers have more horsepower then the new ryzen.  I can max to 32 core and 128ram.  The ryzen chips go no where near that.  But who know maybe i am wrong.

Newegg needs to be listing the number of PCIE lanes on all cpus. What is the number of lanes on the 2929x?
