Pros: Have had 2 of these running in Raid 0 for about 4 years without a hitch. Thought one of them was going down but turned out to be a cable. Scores a 5.9 on WEI.
Cons: Cant get higher than a 5.9 on the WEI lol but thats with all mechanical hard drives.

Other Thoughts: The drive can be heard when accessing but not when spinning. It is pretty quiet though. I have 2 of these they work well.

i had to repair a failed hdd controller and this made for a nice safe transfer. what a relief.
Cons: controller does get pretty warm, but whatever.
Other Thoughts: i was pulling my hair out trying to get it working at first. i shouldn't have assumed that the drive would automatically switch down to SATA 1.5Gbps without jumper configuration. reading the reports of multiple strings of DOA complaints per customer makes me wonder if this isn't a common mistake.
Pros: very small/thin then what i was expecting. works just as expected
Cons: not as fast as i thought it would be but will fill your needs

Pros: It is a good hard drive. It stores things. Behaves exactly as anyone would expect.
Cons: For $35, 80GB is not a lot of storage. I replaced this drive with a 1TB SATA with the same specs, and it only cost $58 right here on Newegg. Do your research, and you will definitely find a better deal. (Hint: Sign up for the Newegg newsletters and you will get fantastic deals on hard drives a few days each week.)
Other Thoughts: Gamers, people who save movies on their computers, video/audio editors, etc: This drive is not worth the price. Spend a little more and get something equally effective with more storage.
Pros: Its a 1tb drive for 35 bucks and its name brand. Superior budget build material.
