It should fit, however keep in mind this drive uses SMR technology and is not ideal for use as a primary drive... suggest you read the reviews for more information on that.

Is this a bare drive or does it come in a retail box?

As I recall it was a bare drive. I buy mostly bare drives but even when I buy a retail box I find that the only difference is the packaging. Assume you will not be getting mounting screws or SATA cables unless the description specifically states they are included. Hope for best outcome but prepare for whatever may happen.

Question 4

The product page doesn't mention OEM but the email receipt I got says OEM. Does this mean WD won't honor the warranty on this drive if ever needed?

The "answer" from "Newegg Support" is not simply inaccurate, it is a deliberate lie.  WD has never provided warranty support for OEM drives sold to end users. That is why OEM drives are cheaper than the same drive with a manufacturer warranty.  If you are lucky, you will get a new OEM drive that was originally sold to someone building computers for sale.  Many of the vendors selling OEM drives are selling drives that were pulled from computers (sometimes 'new' sometimes not) and at least some of them sell used drives that might have been reformatted.  Read through the reviews and you will find plenty of customers who received drives that were obviously used.

Yes, you can use any 2.5" drive on a PS4.  PS4 also accepts solid state if you are looking to up the performance and decrease load times significantly (for a cost).

Definitely OEM.  The packaging it arrives in is less than reputable and the minimal packing material included will likely make you cringe.  I would highly recommend verifying drive integrity before installing it in any system.
