is the phone unlocked? how much is its internal memory

Not unlocked. Phone is fine. Had phone over a year. Phone can NOT find its OWN update WiFi in the middle of NEW ORLEANS. Had to drive to Metairie just to get service, since then ZERO updates. SPRINT Scam. IF next to a WiFi tower, good buy probably. But if not, Piece of Garbage.

Does this come with a charger?

Yes - but not a car charger. And it is a good phone however the Android operating system will eventually stop doing updates because it is an older phone. So, you will not be able to download the latest Apps - they won't work. You basically need a newer Android OS to get the latest Apps. If you are not concerned with this, it will be okay as a phone.

Can this be used with sprint thru Kroger I wireless?

yes it can. it will say it cannot when you first try to activate it but they will get it transfered over in about 24 hours. at least that is what happened with mine. i still use mine for backup.

The one I purchased was CDMA and will work on Verizon and Sprint... but if you need a GSM then I'm not sure

bought this as a music player to replace my broken ipod. Will this be able to do that without being activated on the sprint network? I would use it just over wifi and to play music.

Yes. I've done that with old phones in the past as long as you've got wifi  in your home.

ringplus has a 'Bring Your Own Sprint Device Check Tool'. It states that this device is allowed. I presently use this device with a differant Sprint service reseller. Get it!
